Hhhmmmmm yeeesss…I feel that…soooo goood
you’re too small a person to follow my lead. you had someone else do the heavy lifting for you. and you’re still wrong.
Lol keep saying that. You just admitted I was right. I just didn’t want to Google it all for you. Glad someone had to spoon feed lore to you though.
in other words, you’re exactly the sort of person the light would reward, because you remain steadfast to error in face of desperation. /ignored.
Lol there you go, not understanding the light at all. Nope, if anything I am more of a fel user. I get enjoyment out of your inability to understand
Weird behavior.
Why thank you
Exactly, and even Xe’ra’s “zealotry” wasn’t much. She compromised about arcane users in the Army of the Light and on the subject of Alleria; compromise being the number one thing zealots don’t do. The only strikes against her in most fans’ eyes are her treatment of Alleria and Illidan. That’s small time, even compared to other “heroic” characters. Jaina’s got a higher body count, given the Purge of Dalaran, but she didn’t make the “mistake” Xe’ra did of “daring” to clash with fan favorite characters as a newcomer.
If Xe’ra’s the worst the Light has to offer, I’d still take it over any of the other cosmic forces except maybe Life (about even).
Illidan, like any demon hunter, used a type of magic that is despised on Azeroth, especially by Lightwielders. Demon hunters were outcasts until Legion for a very good reason.
Xe’ra’s condemnation of dealing with fel or shadow magic is consistent, in line with the average paladin, and justified in light of the fact that using this kind of magic turns your brain into apple juice and endangers everyone around you.
The only thing that is truly critical is that she ignored Illidan’s free will and attempted to force the light upon him. - From our perspective. That was intended.
From her perspective, she wanted to cleanse him of the Fel, a malevolent force and fulfill a prophecy she believed is the only way to defeat the legion.
Note that this is indeed her own, personal opinion and not representive of the whole naaru. They were, for exmaple, unable to stop the eredar’s corruption due to free will, and were only able to save those who chose to reject Sargeras.
It’s sort of ironic. This is one of the big horses.
And that is supposed to compete with Sargeras, the Lich King or the Old Gods.
yikes
Uh.
“We walk different paths, but we are not enemies. I have seen it. I will join the Army of the Light in the
final battle against the Legion, and together we will bring the demons down.”
No, Alleria. You will not. You will remain here, imprisoned, until you accept the path of righteousness
once again. I will not allow you to taint what I have foreseen.
Moments I’d want to see is when powerful sources , fonts, or accumulation of magic “reverse corrupts” evil beings like:
- The Sunwell burning Alleria and the Void Elves when they go too close to it
- Beledar destroying Xal’atath when she’s done harvesting its Void essence
- The roots of Amirdrassil eating and munching the corpses of Old Gods underneath so they won’t ever be resurrected again
The opposite literally almost happened. When Alleria got close to the sunwell, the void busted out of her and created void spawns and started to open up void portals. We had to fight it back and Alleria almost got executed for that and was told to never come back to the city or the sunwell.
Which makes no sense for me, why is her Darkened Naa’ru essence more potent than the Sunwell, a font empowered by a Holy Naa’ru Mu’ru, harnessing the leylines of Azeroth? At least they should have cancelled out each other like two opposite sides of the magnet that won’t touch
It did cancel each other out, that was the point of the questline. The thing was that the thing you wanted to happen almost did happen.
Also how Void elves are too dangerous to be around the sunwell as well.
Alleria and the Void Elves should be the ones afraid of the Sunwell, a suicide if any of them go near it
Why? They aren’t vampires. The fact that they didn’t think much of until the opposite energies exploded out of them should suggest that they aren’t afraid of the light but know now to be wary of it in a more fundamental way if they can’t control their powers.
They just don’t need to be around the sunwell and they don’t have to be since they cut all connection to it. They don’t drink from the well anymore.
That’d be cool. We know interactions between those forces can be a bit much so it’d be cool to see that dialed up.
I mean, we already got that. Thing is now the void elves and Alleria gain control over their powers. Now she can touch Turalyon and vice versa without harm. Before, it caused explosions like she did with the sunwell.
That’s not what I’m asking for.
Well what you are asking for already happened and they learn control because of it.
