"The revolution will not be datamined."

But yeah, her line about the cycle of hatred was extremely hypocritical because she’s not breaking the cycle or even trying to break the cycle.

Unless she foolishly believes that if they obey her there won’t be any cycle of hatred. When her own people defy her … if that’s what she believes, then she’s in for a rude awakening.

I feel so many of Sylvanas’ problems could be fixed with a slight tweak to her motivation: make the attack on the tree explicitly directed at Genn and the worgan as revenge for what he did to her in Legion. It would have been somewhat justified, the night elves would have been colleratal damage, now lashing out now for their own revenge. Then her “ours is a cycle of violence” speech in the opening cinematic makes sense.

The ending of the war campaign could have then been Sylvanas finally ready to fire the great cannon in yet another round of escalation and choosing not to, realizing that to truly save the Horde and her own people, she had to let go of her hate, to choose to break the cycle.

(And then N’Zoth gets mad that we stopped killing each other and unleashes his forces)

You may have already noticed it and intend to remove free will.
in the book and other media he drops that it is more an icordio than an advantage.

only instead of complete control opt for brain Wash.

Problem with brainwashing and the like is there are always flaws in the design. Someone will find a way to break free. No hivemind is perfect.

So, even if she got her 100% forsaken across the world, she can’t maintain it. The hivemind or brainwashing will eventually fail. It may take time, but it’ll fail.

As a perfect example, the Borg. They’re pretty much a hivemind. Then a spanner was thrown into the works by a single Borg who shared what he learned. And things began to fall apart for the hivemind that was the Borg.

ceases to be important if there is no one who opposes the hive if the opposition is too small is irrelevant.

and if the finish is subtle to the point that you think you are free, it is even more effective.

Ahem Turalyon and the Forged of Light.

you didn’t notice it but when Narru died they stopped being so Zealots.

It is not necessary that they be Drones, it is only necessary that they believe that you have Reason and that you are Salvation.

Blizzard lies constantly.

The story can literally be anything.

Great, then she can torture all those poor unbaptized babies. What does Blizzard have against unbaptized baby ghosts?

yep.

I think that more interesting and logical things occur to players than “creatives” themselves

I was referring to a creative limbo, disappeared until further notice, as was the black prince.

That’s what they want us to believe, but I am on to them.

Now where did I put my tin foil?

This where we are at now?
Yikes folks…yikes.

Yeah I also want to play World of Pacifistcraft, where the Burning Legion invades and Anduin visits for peacetalks and they deliver his head back in a box to Jaina.

Then Azeroth explodes.

Great game.

It may shock you that wanting to end the ridiculous, forced faction conflict does NOT keep the game from having any war!

I know this is a hard concept for you red vs blue types, but most of the war in Warcraft has been about things other than the factions since Warcraft III.

Was defeated

No the earth quake destroys org, the tsunami destroys stormwind. That way everyone is happy!

Revolution… can mean a lot of things in this context… but it’s good they aren’t letting them datamine it. That’s a plus.

Hey I’m not the one writing Battle for Azeroth, y’know the one with Sylvanas facing Anduin with an angry face. Go tell Blizzard they are the idiots.

I’m just tired of Anduin, the Pacifist Monk of Peace that could get the entire Alliance killed, then walk up to Sylvanas and say “um… I’m gonna take you to jail now… please”

Then he gets hit in the face with a plague barrel.

Only two things really seem awful.

First, the fact that they would turn Thunder Bluff/Stormwind into burnt out wastelands. Tired of seeing nice zones get obliterated.

Second, “Sylvanas was right all along!” Cringe so hard it collapses into a black hole of cringe-ness.

I don’t think a tsunami will reach Stormwind. There’s a lot of stuff in the way before it can reach the city.

By the love of god I hope this doesn’t happen. If it does then it’s confirmed that Blizzard really does hate their player-base.
