"The revolution will not be datamined."

Wiping out a city doesn’t constitute a genocide, just saying. If it did, then the British, and the Americans would have to be considered genocidal for the fire bombings of Dresden, and Tokyo.

What part of total war don’t you understand.

I’m ok with that, I’m just tired of the unstable Warchiefs and how that has been a plotpoint since Cata.

She isn’t insane, it’s all part of the writers master plan to redeem her right at the end.

Blizzard says a lot of things that they never carry through on. They also say a lot of things only to go “oops, we can’t do that” and try and save face later by hiding the details.

Also, just because the cannon is fired doesn’t mean it’ll hit the target or do any lasting damage.

they don’t have to be wiped out even. Offer them amnesty for leaving the horde and the promise of no actions against them.

their link to the horde was tenuous at best to start, and then they just stir the pot occasionally like with Jaina going off her meds one day to have a schizo moment to make it stick.

They could do just fine by themselves really. Its not like they’d have to worry about sylvanas doing something. She is already fighting a several front war and the ghostlands is the last place she wants to be bogged down in.

Her and the forsaken being distinct from the scourge is also tenuous at best. get me in corner I’d cheer for the scourge in that fight. we at least know who and what they serve.

I really hope that doesn’t mean that annoying rep grind I came back to do to specifically to make sure I was sided with Sylvie was for nothing.

It’s not genocide if it’s killing animals.

Really? That’s where you went with this? Our ancestors(in lore) were Kal’dorei highborne. HER ancestors were as well.

As humans my ancestors were gorillas. I still consider gorillas animals. As I do those NELFs.

W/E, I’m not getting into it with some retconner over Christie Golden’s rushed, badly written storyline, since that what it all boils down to. Bad writing and Garrosh 2.0. I liked the old Sylvanas, ranger general of Silvermoon, not the awful, hatchet job villain caricature she’s become.

City? It was the entire tree the entire race lived on. Everything else they had were just outposts to defend nature

Vereesa wants that too but that doesn’t mean it’s actually going to happen. Do we have any actual proof they’re right or is it just them hoping their choosing the Alliance over Silvermoon doesn’t have to be permanent?

Whether or not you think it was well written, Jaina did go on a little murder spree. She didn’t even try to deny it when she was confronted under Org while freeing Baine. Would this promise include any repercussions for her or would they just be expected to forgive and forget like Umbric and his merry band of traitors?

oh so this is what you take seriously?

yep. this is the nice option I’d offer for exchange of just dropping the grudge. in 9.0 or 10.0 vindicaar has to come back. Its the plot hole we won’t let go. Nor will we ever. Until the writers retcon with another ship crash and that be just trash writing there.

We have to see other planets from time to time. Since at this point if we find another new new landmass, man, the cartographers of azeroth can’t be this bad.

So Option B is vindicaar on these return visits. BE’s get the peaceful option or they burn. Orgrimar is a hole. I hate it on horde. Its better off let to wallow in the crap that is really. Thunderbluff…sylvanas is expected to take care of that for us. So save all that ammo for silvermoon and do it right.

There probably will be a revolution, but the quote itself is a reference to

That city in Ferales seems very well established, just like Val’shrah.

While I’ll admit it’d be interesting, I don’t know if turning Anduin (since it doesn’t look like they have any plans of replacing him as the leader of the Alliance) into a tyrant willing to commit genocide is what I’d consider good writing. It doesn’t really fit at all with, well, anything about him.

I have hope that will be the 9.0 twist. I feel for the horde since I also roll them.

Why does it always have to be horde that goes bad?

Legit question imo. Only fair if we need a bad guy plot point its Alliance’s turn I think. It also actually make him interesting really as well. He is just boring AF. Even that Dudley do right boy scout Turalyon who is 90% boring had his old lady to spice him up.

Apparently he likes his private life a little bit interesting with a void powered lady in his life. A paladin on the streets and a freak in sheets to coin a phrase lol.

Sylvanas forever.

Burn more trees!

Blizzard has always been in control of what gets “leaked” or seen before before release. It could be a ruse, a preview of an end of expansion patch like argus or testing player response to a future expansion. We will see the next expansion only when they announce it. But while shadowlands stuff seems certain, an entire expansion of it seems to be a stretch.
