Normally, no. But that’s because normal mobs or bosses can’t one shot you. The damage output is low so you’re exposed to several rounds of abuse feom Kyvesa before she runs off.
Other than that it’s probably the easiest healer to delve with.
Kreigval’s Rest delve in the big central room near the meeting stone is a good place to pop your quartz. Nice flat surface and a lot of space. Where I finally got her down.
They’re good if you need to level Brann, they seem to have upped the XP from them. Otherwise I’d definitely not waste my time. Kinda weird how many of these Delve items can’t even be used in Delves.
Depends on how much time you have and if they are right in your way. I’m only stating that it’s faster to level Brann to just go on to another bountiful, rather than bother with the curios. The only way it is worth it, is if you run more than 4 a day and don’t run alts.
Now, if someone enjoys seeking them out, more power to them. If I could loot them in combat, that’d be another story.

I have like 8 Shrieking Crystals to summon Kyveza and the only time I even had to summon her this season was the first week cause I did like 11 +11s to unlock maps and I REALLY didn’t want to do even more to farm the map that week.
Yeah, that’s a lot of one shots to juggle between lol.
I’ve also noticed that it’s taking a lot longer to gear with delves. I’ve joined crate groups to start gearing, but early conquest caps make for a rough go of it.
Don’t skip K’aresh stuff since that’s where you get the most coffer keys.
Does the shrieking Crystal work beyond once a week?
Probably. But if you already got a map, she won’t drop another.
Yeah, it’s reusable, provided you have the quartz obviously. The beacon from season 2 was also useable as many times as you wanted. There were many weeks when I was summoning the Underpin for a friend so they could get their bounty on multiple characters.
It usually is in a chest for me around my third or fourth delve, and almost always after you fight the princess.
They want you to grind out and do a billion Delves a week. If you’re doing them on alts you’re drowning in Shrieking Quartz at this point. I think I have like 5 sitting in my bags. Not to mention how many Undercoins I have.
Also Kyveza herself always drops a Champion piece, so you wanna be fighting her.
For this season on my 6 characters, it’s been between 1-8 delves needed to get a map. It’s rare it’s from Ky’veza herself dropping it naturally. I will use a crystal if it hasn’t dropped by 3rd delve for my last few characters as I’m running out of effort to do up to 8 delves each plus the key acquisition.
Last 2 seasons did seem faster for the 8+ characters I used, with regular drop-ins from the nemesis boss within the first 4 delves. It was rare to need more and I don’t remember ever needing 8, so it is a change.

Speed is the name of the game. I’ve been doing 6 and 7s Delve on my Brewmaster because it’s fresh and I need the Carved crests still. It takes like 5 minutes to clear a 7 as a tank, you literally run through tagging everything and never stop and use Tailwind Conduit so you’re sprinting.
It’s quicker to get the misc. resources doing that than it is clearing 11s for Gilded.
I just spend 2k undercoin on the Quartz and lock in my chance.
