The reason you play Horde; Also who you'r siding with in 8.1

I play both sides. I’d like the Horde more if they weren’t turning it into some kill-em-all-let-the-spirits/Yog sort them out sort of thing. The Horde were supposed to be turning away from that kind of thing since it was originally Demon influenced anyway!

Instead we have this crap. And it’s revisiting the same sort of plot themes as MoP… eugh. Don’t get me wrong, MoP was a fun expansion. But that was -MoP-. BfA should’ve been much different, and I still feel that way. Also can’t say I appreciate the Night Elves getting treated the way they were this expac. Maybe it’ll get better, but I still have to deal with the ill-conceived lore advancements that basically suggest the Night Elves are now facing diminishment. Lovely. :face_vomiting:

Overall, I do enjoy RPing my Horde characters; but only because I have to deliberately avoid RPing in spots where this damn war story are likely to come up constantly. …which makes it hard to have fun with public RP. I’ll admit it, I’m salty, and perhaps getting more so the longer this plot-line draws out.

The Horde could’ve been aggressive without being pretty much insane. It’s almost like we’re expected to ignore the ol’ what goes around comes around saying, since it stands to reason that the Horde’s current path can only end in much, much worse being done to the Horde. And they can’t really complain about it. Treat others as you would yourself and all that.

…so this turned into a bit of a rant cough anyway, yeah. When I play Horde, it’s to indulge more in adventure Rps and personal developments. Far as I’m concerned this expac’s major plot is dumb and deserves to burn eternally in my lava junk pit on my friend’s Minecraft world.

The side stories are a -lot- more fun …and I really want to see some more, actual signs that something is very wrong with the world since it’s supposed to be, ya know …dying.
