They promote, but it’s not a blizzard event. They promote because the event draws a lot of eyes, generally more than any blizzard runs themselves

I mean… it’s not, plenty of people besides the top two kill the end boss before big nerfs
The game is allowed to have hard content
i guess some people like it? i dont. my wife dont. my son that plays dont. my alliance guildies dont. my horde guildies dont. that shuts down like 100-150+ players that i know.
but i am sure people like it and watch it. otherwise it wouldnt be a thing.

Who the hell watches this stuff? Like “Oh boy, lets just watch 500 wipes of a boss except unlike regular streaming there is basically 0 chat interaction or personality behind it”. Can’t wait to see which guild spent the most on tokens to buy BoEs

I do, cause if you watch anyone but echo there is chat interaction
On idk how anyone watches echo, they don’t even stream coms half the time
Though if you watch the main stream they have full on commentary like other events
There is 8 billion people on the planet.
Your making an argument that 10 kids in the av room watching their friend rushing starfox on a 64 constitutes a large audience while forgetting the other 900+ kids dont give a crap

Now tell us really, how many WOW players give a SHID about RWF. How much we really don’t’ care. Come on Earthen, make us see that the RWF is the finest product we can enjoy today. Do it.

the race to world first really involves nothing more than Echo and Liquid paying their viewers with gold to trade them loot in heroic and normal splits.

The 1% get more attention than the 99% in this game.
Still waiting for the guild bank fix, still waiting for the unlock of Transmog items for my Warband, still waiting for account wide rep pre DF, still waiting for Delves to be solo and not group content.

will there be any punishments handed out for players that exploited the Warbound Loot bug for raid bosses?
