Thats actually a decent idea. Allow us to enter the queue from a phone app so when we get home from work we can just login and play. Or if we aren’t at the PC we cancel the queue or extend it.
im not sure you get how this worked… even new servers get full within hours… ive changed twice already to the “new” server only to go full and my friends waiting in ques again. It was just bad planning on blizzards part and not using the layering better that they had to have. If they think so many people will quit they just need to double up on layers per server and let folks on… then in 2 weeks when the people fake leave like they think, we can talk again.
Vanilla had a terrible release, too. What are you even trying to say with that statement?
4 hours in Queue right now, probably another hour or 2 to go. on a realm i switched to the day of launch. ridiculous.
Got home at 5:00 EST in a 16k queue. Its now 12:30am the next day and im in. Time to go to bed to get up for work tomorrow!!! No i cant switch servers my guild is established! Oh happy days!
Many of us did, to no avail. My friends and I moved to Stalagg when Herod became overcrowded. We moved to Skerum after Blizzard recommended it.
Several of them have still been unable to log in through the queue.
Yes they are. I am in a que and was at 7667. Wait time 400min. But what want to know is while I am waiting in the que it goes up in numbers. Why is this happening?
I wish I could like this post more than once. Blizzard seems to have forgotten what made Vanilla work, and that was the SOCIAL dynamics. “Just move to a lower population server” tells us volumes about how little the company knows what makes their own games effective any longer.
What an utter joke. 8.4k queue, 13 hrs, it’s worse than yesterday. And no we can’t reroll servers there is no cross-realm raiding, we have names reserved and already progressed out characters.
And a majority of that is going to be people who get fed up with queues.
Blizzard is opening up new realms. People just aren’t rerolling. They’re hoping other people will.
I don’t think so. I think they are aware of what retail servers look like. A few servers of high/full and 40+ low pop/dead.
They could open 100 servers, but how many people really want to play on a dead server once the tourists and hype wears off?
My queue took like 10 min for a popular server, guess its cuz I play at night tho
