You think wrong. It’s a matter of Alliance wanting a race that people actually want to play.
We’re still waiting.

this is literally one of the points I make
uh you guys have the most popular allied race though?
so you dont agree that is kind weird that the 3 KT factions none has KT model? that there is no KT model in any cinematic ?
in the lore, the high elves are almost non existent. There’s like …what; 2000 of them maybe at most left ?
Even blood elves are just marginally more numerous according to lore. I think people have estimated that there’s like 50,000 left after what arthas had done to their homeland…and Blood Elves are remnants of High Elves when the sunwell was tainted and they turned to fel to stave off their sunwell dependency.
Point to where in my comment I said I wanted to play high elves?
there are less velves than helves though and that’s the main point a lot of them make. it’s doubtful at this point alliance will get two versions of the belf model though. maybe pre-velf it could’ve happened? i seriously doubt it now though.
Even from story point all KT are basically gilnean and genn would be the actual king of them which is probably why the leader is “lord admiral” rather than a regal title.
At some point they broke off completely but even still they are a sub race of a sub race of humans which sucks.
I don’t like them because all of their facial animations have the emotional range of a dead fish; how am I supposed to take good screenshots if they look so blasé all the time?
There’s nothing wrong with them culturally. It’s the aesthetics that’s an issue.
If they’d released with thin or regular human (maybe with some different customization options) then they’d be massively more popular.
Eh, they should change them all to big KT’s and just say “too bad so sad” to the people with an issue but I understand that’s a big ask for a shallow playerbase. I wouldn’t mind if they added the thin model even but the people that just want to be a normal human but KT: Fish off.
When I see VE #22255501 Complaining about KT and how he would have made one if they did x or y instead its just no… you literally wouldn’t, stop pretending you would just to fuel your outrage.
They could have used a little more pizzazz… being a bigger race they suffer from some of the same things I dislike the pandaren for… nothing looks very awesome about them enough for me to overlook them not looking appealing in many pieces of gear. I DO like their hairstyles though.
To be honest, I just don’t like playing fat characters. I think that’s actually how a lot of players feel which is why Pandaren aren’t played much either.
what’s wrong with how they look though? do you not like pandaren or tauren either? some of us like big races. the main issue for me is that they can’t be pally or warlock. otherwise i’d have a bunch right now including some race changes.
Sorry but that’s just wrong.
Pandaran and Tauren are beast races, they have their own different appeals. And considering pandas are one of the least played races that doesn’t really help your point.
KTs are just fat humans. That’s it. Mogs look terrible on them.
I dont think its big ask at all, its super weird that there are so few KT model around kultiras and none of them are important to the story
I dont mind neither I do mind people who ask to scrap the robust model, imo they should add to the normal human, but that’s another topic
the female kt model is, imo, the best looking one in the game. they look amazing. my male dwarf pally would already be changed into a female kt if they could be pallies. i also have a max level warlock that i would race change as well. that’s the issue FOR ME. your issue is that you want to be skinny. gotcha.
I just have an issue with their model scale… they tower over the night elves and draenei. if they woudl have reduced their scale it would have been great
I hope the races become cross-faction next expansion like many think. I like Kul Tirans but ugh I can’t play Alliance for long. So bland.
In the concept of Fantasy worlds, actually we got Half-Humans, the other half being an offshoot of the Vykrul called the Drust. A Faction of Drust mixed with the Early Kul Tiran settlers. Which is why they are so large. (the reality is we got Half-Ogres if this was D&D that would be their race.)
They are Human Druids and Shaman. Lore wise the classes they got fits, KT wasn’t invovled in Wrath, so no DKs, and well the Paladins from Kul Tiras can just be rolled normal Human, same with any classes they don’t have, as you said in point 3 more normal human models in Kul Tiras than the Large body models.
I do want to hit on one class specifically and why I am glad they don’t have it. Warlocks, lorewise there is no Fel/Demonic activity on Kul Tiras, they also avoided interacting during Legion, and The Kul Tirans who fought the Legion under Proudmore did not return to Kul Tiras. So like Paladins, you want a KT warlock for RP just roll a normal human.
I disagree, there is just the right amount of them, and if you want to make a normal body Human and call them KT you can totally RP that.
