The Problem is Contamination

This is funny, both when it is true, and when it is cringe.

Basically.

the forced pvp lead off is a sign.

no one forced/forces (in wrath c) you to a pvp server. that is a player choice. pvp happens on pvp servers. on an unlucky night even on the 99% servers of wrathā€¦you can die to the 1% lol.

if not into pvpā€¦that is a min maxer choice since pvp servers become hot spots for some reason.

that to me is like not liking country music. and then going to a honky tonk. and complaining about its music.

I honestly pity you.

Thereā€™s no way you read the whole post and came to that conclusion.

Maybe you skimmed a few sentences?

Iā€™m not sure. But either, you have no attention span, or poor reading comprehension.

Just pity; no contempt.

Problem isā€¦.raiding is by far the more difficult content. 5 man is easy to organize and not as much memory for five man scripted content. And hereā€™s the thing if you die all the time in raiding itā€™s because you are out of position or standing in stuff. Healers canā€™t carry you. But you can get carried by heals and tank in five man. But the loot is so easy to get and itā€™s fast compared to raiding. Blizz canā€™t unring that bell. M+ will always be a loot trough for casual players. And to change will mean big unsubs

Thatā€™s all perfectly fine.

Just make that loot solely for M+ and diminish its impact on other activities.

Just like other activities will have a diminished impact on M+

But you didnt need it to do your chosen content. If you just had to have it, you just have to do the content to get the reward!

you dont have to carry them aroundā€¦you have a bank. thats only 5 sets. dont know where the other 35 came from.

you dont need your god gear unbalancing open world. the content doesnt require it.

Let blizzard continue sprinkling new zones with worthless collectable, call it a day, and pat themselves on the back for apparently giving casuals something to do. I gave up saying what I would like to see in this game, because the answer is always the same. Even if I tell them I donā€™t want worthless ilvl gain which will only be meaningless the following patch, the answer is STILL the same. Iā€™m tired of hearing the same answer, which is ā€œyou all are coming to get our mythic gear and take our jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebs.ā€

No, thatā€™s not accurate at all. Back in the day you had a choice between RP, PvE, and PvP servers. It was clearly communicated that rolling on a PvP server means youā€™re subject to other players ganking you. If you rolled a PvP server, you werenā€™t forced into anything you hadnā€™t forced upon yourself. Could of rolled PvE.

Also War Mode was introduced in BFA when they got rid of PVP servers.

And what do you think eventually occurred, mate? People got tired of it.

You clearly looked over this part.

People got tired of it regardless of willingly opting into it.

If they hadnā€™t, Blizzard would not have made warmode.

Itā€™s as simple as that.

Hi goalposts bye goalposts

I am sure itā€™s easier to do then what your what you think.

If they have the ability to give spells weaker effects in pvp content, then they can make ā€œhas this ilvl in m+ā€ easy on gear.

Pvpers donā€™t get much player power, and yet they still pvp because;

A. Itā€™s actually fun
B. The cosmetic rewards gives them the drive to play it.

Open world content had always been a joke to pverā€™s that do dungeons or pvp geared players.

I admit Iā€™m a dabbler, I do a little mythic + I do a little raidingā€¦I do average outdoor contentā€¦The only thing I do not do is pvp/arenasā€¦and I donā€™t do war modeā€¦nor do I do pet battlesā€¦and thatā€™s my enjoyment

But farming a dungeon for a specific piece does not even compare to running high keys over and over just so you can get SOME GEAR from SOMEWHERE since the raid never gives you crap and on top of that thereā€™s a timer and a bunch of extra mechanics that donā€™t have any thematic purpose. M+ players and Raiders are simply different types of people and neither should feel obligated to step into each others domain in order to succeed in their own.

This.

M+ players that enjoys it is generally the same crowd of people that likes speed running games. And not everyone likes speed running.

I hĆ¢te It. I can tolerate it two or three times a week in mid range keys. And thatā€™s it. Itā€™s stressful. Games arenā€™t supposed to give you anxiety.

In a raid you have as much downtime and regrouping as you want. The only timers are enrage timers. You canā€™t stop halfway through a key to go bio or take a ten or strategize on discord because youā€™ll brick the key. That is such a huge turn off for so many including myself.
