I would honestly stay subscribed indefinitely on a Classic server, I hope Blizzard just keeps them live forever as sandboxes and maybe opens new sandboxes for TBC and WotLK later without closing down existing classic servers.
You are so very right! I had full pvp gear on my hunter and got ripped apart by another hunter with arena gear on. On that level you cannot really compete and trying to get into an arena team and then when that team looses due to some mistake people flip out over it and quit instead of just going again. And then there were cheats that were going on where in BC there was a whistle to summon a felhunter for a quest. Well they would just would not turn in the quest and lo and behold a priest now could have a felhunter in arena. Good times.
People seem to be VERY CONFUSED when it comes to Wow: Classic, so ill explain…
Classic is a standalone game. It starts with 1.12 and will continue to receive update patches that will add more content and open up everything, with the naxx patch being the final one. At this point it will be almost like it was begore TBC prepatchs.
And it will STAY LIKE THIS INDEFINITELY. Thats it. The gameworld stays in the vanilla time period. And thats ok!!
So Wow: Classic will stay vanilla. And i hope it will remain to remind us of how amazing things are now in live and how epic everything looks. I personally experienced wow vanilla so theres no reason to go back. Maybe to do certain quest chains i missed or tank as shaman for fun lol.
