The premade system actually might turn me into a raid-logger

Sorry, us Tauren don’t wear shoes.

Is that why you keep coming back to talk more about my fabulousness? :kissing_heart:

Of course there is, the issue is to how much of a degree.

Right and all these things are things a premade can eliminate before even joining the match. Whereas pugs cannot.

As I said premades enter the game at a huge advantage over pugs that in many ways cannot be compensated for.

You havent seen some of my druid shoes.
Who ever called them foot gear, when your toon appears barefoot, needs smacked

Did you actually play in Vanilla?

Premades happened in wsg and ab all the time.

High rank pvpers were always running in premades. This was how they controlled brackets.

Which is precisely why Pre-Mades are well…Pre-Mading.

To some degree, I agree. Again, you and I both know that PuGs are a lot harder to coordinate.

And I think they’ll decline once they reach their goals. And PuGs will still face their other issues.

There has been no sign of that happening yet and BG’s have been out for months.

And I’m fine with pugs facing those issues, when the other team is also facing those issues.

That’s because some people want that R14 or Marks and trying to be efficient with it. As one of my admirers cleverly mentioned:

Premades are bread and butter. Got to dance to the tune of the all mighty honor per hour.

Right and here’s the problem, there can only be one to two rank 14’s per week per faction.

If the honor system was better and all these people could just grind out their ranks in a week or two then leave great there wouldn’t be a problem. But that’s not the case it’s will take years to get through everyone who wants rank 14.

And it’s the version that was asked for. Hence why J. Allen Brack said what he said “you think you do, but you don’t”. There are obvious flaws with the Game, but it’s this version of the Game. You either take it or you leave it.

EDIT: Except maybe the Cross-Realm BG part. Some are for no Cross-Realm, others are.

Well not really, blizzard has been making changes to curb negative behaviors that are more prevalent now than they were in vanilla.

We’ve seen that with guards being tweaked, and various changes to BG queueing that have already been made. So it’s hardly a stretch to think that given how much more prevalent premading and how detrimental it is now blizzard might do something about it.

I don’t think they’re going to change how the Honor System works, though.

To the Pre-Mades, possibly. To the Ranking System, I don’t think so. Do I think they’ll have separate BGs for Pre-Mades vs PuGs, no. They might alter the way the Que works, to “break” the concept of Pre-Mading.

I think premades will calm down over time.

I’m not expecting them to change the honor system.

Changing the matching system though? Yes very possible and I think entirely inline with other changes that have already been made. As I said certain behaviors have become more prevalent in classic and there’s no reason not to adjust for that.

Here’s the other thing, people keep saying just join a premade yourself. Okay so then if you have no problem with fighting only other premades why do you care if blizzard just changes the matching system to work that way but leaves it so pugs can still fight other pugs?

this is false though. Take lower brackets as another example where premades take over and there’s no HPH farm and rep is trivialized within a month.

Yes, but we’re not changing the Que System because Classic already has changes, though. There’s no logic in that.

I agree. There’s a lot more competitive energy, and I’m not down with that.

I think there is, like this person said, and I said (awhile ago):

I don’t think Pre-Mades are going to exist, forever. This isn’t a permanent epidemic.

And I’m totally with you on that. As I said, earlier, they want to get their stuff done, in the most efficient way, possible. Being slowed down by another Pre-Made is inefficient, and you already know this, my friend.

Same with the Twinkers, Multi-boxers, botters, AFKers, “Toxic” Players, etc. All of the lovely problems of PvP.

we are talking about level 60 in this thread

Then don’t play classic

A lot of things in classic shouldn’t be the way they were, but its classic.

Go to retail.

Thanks for killing pugs, Blizzard! /s

Except it’s not changing it just because changes. Changing it would be inline with changes blizzard has already made. Namely trying to prevent premades from rolling pugs.

Yeah the hypocrisy of that position is just staggering.
