That’s not what they said, but go off I guess.
good news, I found stuff for you to do
Not what I said, and you ignored the question. Interesting. Is that because you don’t have an asnwer?
I mean the alternative is go back to one hard difficulty which most people can’t do
or one difficulty that’s just boring and easy like classic
Why? Game was very successful with 2 raid difficulties (standard and easy) in Wrath.
Bro remove lfr/normal and this forum and twitter get burned down
Brewa advocating for the removal of Mythic Raid.
Ya’ll saw it here first.
Because a handful of chronic complainers would quit? We should be so fortunate.
TWW came out in August and is only about to get it’s first patch. 7.1 in FF14 came out in November and 7.2 will be out around mid to late March. FF14 patches generally come out faster, the issue with FF14 is how they load up those patches. They frequently load up the content in later patches vs the expansion launch, which is the main issue and why it seems like content takes longer to get.
For example: 7.2 is going to have the next raid, dungeon, trial, and whatnot, but it’s also going to have the Eureka/Bozja type content plus whatever that Cosmic Exploration content is. It’s also going to have the first part of the Relic Weapon. Some of this should have been at expansion launch or in 7.1 lol.
please do that. it’s really fun to inspect armories and instantly notice that the people complaining about the removal like never even cleared normal when it was current.
The people who complain there’s nothing to do, are always the people who do nothing.
Yep. Just inspected an armory of a guy in this very thread complaining about doing grim batol over and over to not even see a keystone explorer achievement for tww. like ?
Right, but progression was a lot slower, so it took more time to play through the content. Now, the game blasts you through everything in 5 hours, then you’re stuck on an endless gear treadmill of repeating the same 8 dungeons and the current raid.
The rep grinds are pointless too, because the gear you get from them is useless after like a week of level cap gear farming.
Repeating content we already beaten = no content.
Same problem as above.
So we have to grind old content in order to keep busy, how is the new content?
I will add a few things here that I love from other games.
ESO housing, Lotro’s Housing and GW2 housing, there is a ton of content around these game’s housing systems.
GW2 legendary crafting systems, that takes you all over the game world collecting items and having you tackle achievements to unlock Lengendary weapons and armor.
Zone wide meta events like in GW2 that actually require people to know what they’re doing. WoW’s world bosses are a joke.
ESO’s archeology systems, a super fun mini game that rewards some of the best gear and housing items in the game.
I love ESO’s mini card game Tales of Tribute that is in the game, it is a ton of fun.
I wish WoW had Lotro’s legendary weapons, Legion tried to copy it, but failed miserably at it.
GW2 mount system is just absolutley amazing, WoW is tried to copy this with dragonriding, but again, it is an inferior version.
Castle sieges from Black Desert are a blast, but I don’t think these could work in WoW due to how toxic the player base is here.
There are tons of systems and content that I would rattle off that Archeage had that were just a blast to enage with. That game was truly an amazing MMO, that was killed by P2W greed.
I will list more, I can’t type out everything atm.
You all are so stuck in the WoW bubble when it comes to MMO design.
Retail WoW is so stagnant at the moment, and the fact the only thing fun to do in the game is grinding the same 8 dungeons and now delves says a lot about how boring the game has become.
The fact that you run out of content in like 2-3 months in a game world this size again shows how poorly the game is being designed now.
You can’t make me.
lol.
The people that claim nobody does anything are always the people that think only CE means you are doing anything.
This whole idea is part of both alt friendliness and a modern sense of “it’s ok to take breaks” that a few big MMOs have adopted to avoid being regulated as dangerously addictive experiences.
They can’t “safely” or “Morally” keep you on a mandatory-feeling treadmill for too long, so everything becomes optional, which some folks internally translate as “might as well not exist.”
There is stuff to do, it’s just not mandatory-feeling. That’s intentional.
You are below average Fauxstraza.
Act professional not like an office temp with a bad attitude.
He’s above average at always being wrong on the forums though.
Basically, if you are not grinding M+ or busting your head against mythic raid bosses, you’re doing it wrong.
Modern WoW is basically just instance grind the same content or die.
I do my part in M+ but the “CE or you’re not even playing muh game” bros are obnoxious.
There’s plenty to do. Raid all the way through mythic, which usually takes quite awhile, do M+ and push for score. PvP is a thing. Mount collections. If you don’t like any of that you’re probably just playing the wrong game.
