OK. I mean, I guess the other members of the group could be bots, but that’s about as literal as ‘group’ gets.
I mean, #3 is pretty fool-proof.

A source might be impossible
If you can’t find a source I have to doubt it happened.
The massive complaints were certainly a fact.
I’d like to see any proof on this as well.
Yes because I don’t agree with you I’m automatically a troll…
Just go thru her post history… she has professional victimhood down to a science.
No it’s because when a problem is put forth you offer troll answers.
no, because pandemics aren’t opt-in
this event was fun the last time around, it will be fun this time around. if you get tired of it, go hide in your garrison
couldn’t have said it better
How in Azeroth is me, or anyone else, opting-out of this griefing-fest any different from me not bothering to log into it in the first place?
Opting out creates a separate instance in the shared world we play in. Opting out cheapens the event itself.
if there is an opt-out, you don’t get to have any say in how, or even if, I get to play.
I don’t control you or how you play the gamr anymore than you control me.
If I won’t give you that control, then, according to you, I shouldn’t be allowed to play at all.
I wouldnt have any control over you or what you do.
While, we just want to control our own fun and be left in peace, while you go have fun with other people who agree with you.
You want the world’s rules to bend to you. Thats not how it should work.
Not at all what I want and I’ve told you multiple times. No use talking to a child that doesn’t get their way.
Yeah, sure, you win. Now move on.
It was 12 years ago and I’m not sure the forums from then are even accessible or the amount of effort it would take to dig through them if they were.
In any case if you weren’t there you are perfectly free to believe whatever you want according to your specific prejudices.
Ever met an American?
LOL
it’s sad that this is so hilariously accurate
Exactly. Which is why I’m going to stop talking to you.
Blizz needs to add a way to let players who want to fight the Zombie Hordes have a fighting chance
The NPC zombies die in one hit.
The PC zombies die in a bit more hits due to a larger hp pool.
They both do very little damage.
Player against zombie, they’re pretty weak and go down decently fast. Its when you let yourself get surrounded or too close to groups that it gets sticky. So it requires some thought but definitely not being one shot unless you’re a lvl 10.
While I do agree there should be some sort of opt out, War Mode is not the answer as it will open a new can of worms. Simply place two npcs at every flight path and portal. One npc sets up an aoe shield in which zombies can not enter. The other npc can give a 15 minute invisibility to undead debuff to players upon request. This would safely give players time things they need to do in cities while still engaging in the event.
With all this whining I don’t think they deserve any protection from the chaos.
Getting griefed is part of the game and is not punishable if it’s getting ganked.
That would completely ruin the event if people could opt out lol

Threads like this dominated the forums through the entirety of the event before Wrath. I fully expect it to continue until the event is over and will get much worse during the pre-patch event itself.
Now like I said during that event years ago, the forum complaining will continue until the event is over. When the event is over the complaining will stop. Not until then. So buckle up, this ride is only starting.
And why they think aggravating a large portion of the playerbase will build excitement for Shadowlands is beyond me.
Its a temporary event and this is a game…just have fun with it while its here. Not everything in this game has to be about how efficient someone is at getting something done. If youre held up for a few minutes in a city because of the event its not the end of the world.
Some people are thicker than the walls of the cities they reside in. They seem to forget the definition of an event.
It’s a nice break from the usual stuff to do in the game.
