I think it’s still unclear whether this line is to Sylvanas or to someone else - I’ve seen speculation that it’s for Night Fae Horde PCs, since they’d have helped rescue night elf souls and the like and actually done something to warrant the voiceline.
But considering everything else that’s happened, it could well be Sylvanas.

This has to be to be a joke. I vividly remember someone on this forum making a joke prediction about Tyrande thanking Sylvanas months back there is, no way. No way they could be this tone deaf.

Well, I’ll admit it. I was wrong. I can certainly admit when I’m wrong and it was clear that I was wrong.
Sylvanas won’t be getting a statue of herself built in Stormwind. The statue will replace Teldrassil instead and it will be built by Night Elves, led by Foreman Whisperwind.

I used to think that when this day happened, as I knew it would, I would do a fair amount of I Told You So-ing.
But now we’re actually here. Even I was still joking a little when I said Tyrande would thank Sylvanas. But then she did. And we’re here. And all I feel is bad.
Bad that the Horde has to accept that they’re now canonically bad guys, bad that the Alliance has to accept yet another short-shifted loss that will never be addressed, bad that all of us are here because, at some point, we actually liked this writing.
I guess I feel kind of like…this is it. This is proof, you know? Proof that they don’t care. Proof that they aren’t trying. Proof that everything we said about them is true.
If I still liked the company, it’d be heartbreaking. As it is, I feel more like I’m watching a wheelbarrow full of waste, on fire, rolling down a hill into a bigger pile of waste: it’s kind of amusing, but it still makes you wonder why anyone would do that, and your brain hurts a little for not knowing the answer.

I mean the only way for this voice line to be ok would be if Tyrande is talking to Thrall or Baine who just set things right by killing Sylvanas or at least throwing her into prison for 10,000 years.

We wasted the Black Empire for this.
We wasted Sylvanas vs Greymane for this.
We wasted continuing conflict in Gilneas for this.
We wasted Teldrassil for this.
We wasted Undercity for this.
We wasted the Night Warrior for this.
We wasted the Forsaken for this.
We wasted literal years worth of storytelling opportunities for Shadowlands, and the Jailer’s awful ending and this ending with Sylvanas is all we have to show for this. Thanks Blizzard. No, really. You really subverted expectations with this one.

It’s important to know the whole context of this before jumping into conclusions however with all of the terrible choices they’ve done in the game’s lore…

Oh definitely, this could very easily just be taken out of context and I’ll give it a chance to play out. But given Blizzard’s track record as of late I’d be surprised if this isn’t Tyrande talking to Sylvanas.

I think if theres any example I could support, is that people had a knee jerk reaction anger fest when an out of context quote was found from the Zandalari about ‘not giving out any prelates’ to the Horde. No matter how upset I may be, I still like to wait to see what is going to happen. I’d rather be slightly dissapointed in seeing the truth, then hyped up over something I know nothing about yet. It lets me make my own choices and opinions based on the story, rather then what someone else’s feelings toward something fuel.
But I guess we will see!

Why does her living form looks so off? Like her eyes are very off.
If Sylvanas was mind controlled the whole time how come she’s expressed doubt and hesitation in the past as evil Sylvanas?
