This comment led me to search how wolves and foxes smell. Wolves are reported to smell either dog-like or not smell much at all, depending on the person asked. Foxes, on the other hand, are described as incredibly stinky. “Foxes don’t smell, they reek” is also a comment I found.
I think between the two, I’d chose the wolf smell over the fox smell.
I want my Alliance toons on the same realm as my Horde. Area 52 seems to be almost all Horde guilds and Dalaran is mostly Alliance guilds. So I have to be on 2 realms.
I think that’s one of the perks of being alliance.
There is on Moonguard! I bring vulpera there via prisms all the time!

Im guessing biology plays a factor in this.
Wolves live in a pack and generally are close enough to each other that they donʻt need a strong smell to let their presence be known to others.
Foxes i think are more solitary and smell more so that another fox can find them easier.

Yeah, that seems possible. I think for the anthromorphic versions of them that we have in WoW as playable races, they’d not really actually smell like the wildlife versions. Since they wear clothes and have a higher intelligence, they probably have a different way of keeping themselves hygienic.
Also, if Worgen smelled like wet dog, would the smell disappear if they shapeshifted back into Human form? Likewise for anyone else after they shapeshift or whatever.
I mean here on Moon Guard we have people who use prisms to roleplay as Vulpera in Stormwind. Someday though the faction divide will come down, and our fox friends can just come hang out without all the extra steps.

Cows don’t actually stink- its their poo that stinks. If the tauren drop their poo over the edge of the mesa combined with the wind from being that high I would bet that Thunder Bluff is likely the best smelling city in the game.
Orgrimmar reeks though, no doubt about that.
The problem with Goldshire is it isn’t even mostly Moon Guard people there. It’s off server people flooding the server to flood Goldshire for their ‘fun’.
Some would see this as a plus, even.
