uh… let me see… i didnt like uh… every single one of them.
Unpruning Shield of Righteousness for ret (why??) instead of Exorcism or Holy Wrath.
Blade of Justice is the new Exorcism. Yes, it sucks, I agree.
But what doesn’t say paladin about conjuring a giant sword from the ground?
I still can’t permanently mind control people.
le sigh
I miss Death Knight Presences (aka stances). Specifically as they were in Wrath.
I don’t know, really… I guess it feels that, ever since prepatch, I’ve seemingly having to do more Ice Lance spam? I feel bad even though it’s good DPS.
No, it’s not just you.
I would actually probably play my Druid if it wasn’t for it.
It’s a mechanic. That I truly think nobody asked for, yet they re-introduced it for some stupid reason.
In terms of the classes I have been playing. I haven’t noticed any glaring changes so far that I dislike or are annoyed by.
I can no longer play my Shadow Priest, I know it does more damage mow but it just feels terribly boring
One change… one… um… all of it? Honestly it’d be easier to list the one change I do like about my class… removal of Maelstrom.
I get that - I was hoping for Exorcism because it allows paladins to have a way of doing more damage during a ranged phase of a fight, rather than just throwing judgement and then waiting. Blade’s range is too short for such a problem.
Personally I didn’t much mind the last iteration of the eclipse mechanic before it was removed… but this new one… it’s horrible… even worse than the first iteration of the eclipse mechanic… and that’s really saying something… the old mechanic atleast was fluid with a steady transition between solar and lunar phases… this new one however… omg… it’s so clunky… two casts of wrath, quickly hit starsurge, spam starfire for 10seconds, full stop, reverse… two casts starfire, quick starsurge, wrath spam… and of course they couldn’t be bothered to have starsurge be instant cast at the start of an eclipse phase… and once again we can’t choose if we want to focus AoE or Single Target for a fight… we have to keep switching to keep our damage up…
I didn’t like it in WoD, don’t like it now.
Which sucks cause I was enjoying my druid, now I won’t touch him for two years. Maybe more
Slice and Dice.
Now I have to keep both a DoT and a Buff up, both cost combo points.
All of my unpruned spells are the ones I missed the least. Yay non instant corruption, yay 3 curses that I never liked, sweet I can enslave demons again … in the shadowlands.
All I wanted was Demon / Fel Armor, Shadowflame, and Lifetap. But whatevs.
They took away Spirit Bond

This times 100. My paladins were fine without it
Holy doesn’t really suffer from it, but it just doesn’t benefit from it anymore.
Back at the start of Cata it was a fine addition because it gave you an option that assisted with mana management during triage, it made sense. But based on todays healing design it doesn’t really fit the bill because it’s more designed around cooldown usage and raid wide damage, none of which HP addresses and one of which HP actually hinders.
I miss Hand of the Protector.
I miss Crusader being passive, as I always forget until I notice I’m going slower.
And in SL I miss my damned Flight Whistle soooooo much! I so hope they put it back in the game.
I miss old Demonology, my multi drain and metamorphasis for tanking.
Tremble before more being removed.
I’ve had a heavy dependence on that ability as well a sensation of class fantasy, due to the fear effect being removed, I no longer bother to tank as much.
Due to the constant frustration of enemies going off to kill the damage dealers and healers.
It was a inconvenience to remove Tremble Before me, it’s a real kick in the face to render disease useless after threat reduction.
I am even more infuriated of them locking the ability behind a legendary.
