you do know that any and all rewards from 2v2 like season titles T2 gear and the like were removed after S5 the first pvp season of wrath like 15 years ago.
2v2 was never allowed to give titlesa again… do to how broken then were/are.
dk’s and pally in wrath say hi… double blood dks in 2v2…
after S5 and later wrath any and all Esports like MLG+ and blizz all dumped wow from eports… blizz said 2v2 was broken and can not be fixed go play 3v3…
the only time 2v2 allowed titles again was wrath classic… lol blizz made special allowance as they know how broken 2v2 is in wrath.
i think its funny people ask for/qq about things that were broken 15+ years ago and never fixed lol and you can blame that on wraths crappy pvp!
remember 5 dks all popping army of the dead in 5v5… good balance…
TBC all brackets were good in wrath it was 3v3 only…then a shift to rated bgs in cata… rbgs should have been the main focus the entire time.

They didn’t remove ALL titles, just glad and rank 1. If you are complaining about that, you probably weren’t getting those titles anyways.

The reason why 2s glad titles were removed back then was simple. 2s generally requires less skill compared to 3s and 2s compositions are highly unbalanced strength wise. If 2s and 3s grant the same titles, 3s titles lose value as a result.

idk about you all but removing 2s titles killed 90% of my cata interest

No one plays this game anymore. its over, you through the baby out with the bathwater. 3s is completely unbalanced even worse than 2s, all it is jungle jungle jungle

They didn’t remove 2s btw, still very accessible to que. I’ve played a very fair share of 2s this season in cata and am also towards the top of the ladder frequently in this bracket. It’s bad. The bracket balancing isn’t there and it’s good they took away titles from 2s. If you want your first gladiator go q the real bracket for it.

3s is worse, you have garbage players playing brain dead comps like vanguard. two brainless melee zugs and a bad priest who can get carried by ret off heals.
2s is where bad players can’t hide in a comp and get exposed.
In the end, it doesn’t matter everyone is quitting, community is terrible and you can rant to yourself in your smaller and smaller bubble, wondering how come no one is playing anymore.

The logic that 3s is somehow inherently more balanced than 2s and therefore 2s don’t deserve recognition is mindboggling to me. And yes, its all just Jungle in 3s. Such diversity. Wow.

in 2s you have people playing feral disc, fire mage hpal/rsham, hunt rog, ret any melee (none of these comps require any skill)
3s isnt much better but its still MUCH better (jungle or vanguards everygame is incredibly boring i agree)
What if there was both, and all the lame 2s team can fight each other and all the lame 3s teams can fight each other, problem solved.

adding it back at this point would just be for people who cant get it in 3s lol
3s is way worse with triple dps

triple dps is bad(as in incredibly broken), but also gives players who dont have healer friends the opportunity to play (sad but its reality with how dead the game is)
2v2 is still much worse,
i was in favor of them keeping 2s titles around until i played it btw(now i am not lol)

Jungle / Vanguard are almost as easy to play, but at least you have to cc.
3s in general is a much easier climb than 2s currently. I enjoy the current meta of 2s more than the 3s.
In original s9, not this bastardized version, the game was way more balanced & slower paced. 3s was superior to 2s back then. This time? Idk its pretty degenerate regardless, not very balanced on this phase 1 (but last patch balance). Imo.
What comps require skill?

There is a glitch to sometimes show it as not being able to be queued into after the titles got removed, but it is still there. You can still do it. 2s not showing up as existing has happened before in Wow’s history. I highly doubt 2s is going anywhere ever. 2s is for gear getting and to help practice you a little for a small feel of what 3s may be. Many people simply add one additional person to their 2s team to make a 3s team.
