Yeah, that is a super “casual friendly” trait.
I’m only jealous of Vulpera(camp)/Dark iron dwarves (mole machine) for the convenience factors. It does seem weird to only give some races stuff like those, while I get to escape from spider webs…

But I would suggest everyone to just assume it’ll be removed and don’t spend gold on anything but gold sinks

Probably something that I have no interest in once again. I think the last gold sink they added that I actually used was the large bags back in BC.
The rest area would be nice, but we already have a mobile mailbox. 2 if you’re an engineer.
I want a mount that other players can walk into and you can carry them around even if the are not in your group.

Would highly, highly doubt that there would be another mount above 5 million given the amount of gold coming into the economy now. There isn’t nearly the same amount of gold in the economy that there was coming into this expansion. The value of wow tokens says enough about that. Prices are still bloated and will likely continue to fall.
BFA needed a gold sink to burn off the gold sitting in the economy from wod and legion. Coming into BFA I assumed they would actually pump more gold into the economy to devalue the gold people were hoarding.

On topic though, I really hope they knock it off with outrageous gold sinks, especially considering how adamant they’ve been about nerfing gold income. If anything, just do more stuff like the Mammoth and Yak. Have a super deluxe fancy version with bells and whistles for something nutty, but toss a plain jane version for people who just want the model.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t have a slightly smaller, vendorless single person Brutosaur for like 1 million. Would’ve been a much more effective gold sink since way more people would’ve bought one.

5 million? Nah, 7.5 million & it’ll be a Goblin built transporter with every in-game portal installed.
That would actually be amazing. Just has a mage NPC sitting on the side that will port you anywhere. Hell, that one might even be worth spending real money on tbh.
