- Ancient space goat sorcery used to be more of a mix between priest clairvoyance and arcane manipulation, rather than just mage training. The fire and ice aspects were only learned after the Draenei crashed into Azeroth. (Were there ever any space goat magic users on Argus that used anything other than arcane magic? If so, I'll put the 'RESCINDED' stamp on this one.)
Ancient may have been that way, I cannot refute that but: In Talador during WoD we see a Battle-Mage Maraa and Sha'tari battle mages utilizing fire spells. It is safe to say if not before then on Draenor they did come to start learning and utilizing them, though never as extensively as their more traditional methods.
