You don’t for the dungeon daily, unless that was a bug that has been hotfixed. I loved my fresh alt getting carried too much to be horribly bothered by it, but I did notice that being locked out of the boss fight inside of the dungeons was not counting them as killed for her daily. LFR worked just fine, though.

Sounds great.

I just got a 6" chainsaw. Life is good.

I didn’t have an issue yesterday. By the time I zoned in, the Mage had already killed the first boss in Brewery and I wasn’t even past the second boss room before the dungeon was over and I had to run and loot. Got credit for everything no problem.

New grief I discovered today when I went to the Shrine of the Seven Stars to put a few things in my bank. Opposing faction DK repeatedly killing bankers. Eventually, we got enough people to get him down but couldn’t bank for a half hour. Not sure if that is what discouraged him or one of our reports got noticed… still not fun when it’s the only place you can bank in the game.

It’s not considered griefing unless it happens for days. Y’all solved it like they intended: PvP problems have PvP solutions.

Basically this.

For example DH mastery increases their run speed. As a result, you’ve already got DHs running around with so much mastery that they run faster than ground mounts despite the stat DR. That’s why the timeless isle rare farm is completely dominated by DH players. Not really sure what can be done about it without completely changing the way DH mastery works. Either that or capping mastery. But I guess that kinda defeats the purpose of the event.

Yes to both.

But more importantly: how are yo u not keeping up with class movement abilities and the cogwheel abilities?

They could just cap the speed converted from mastery to something reasonable.

I’d like this in retail too, I’ve zoned into LFR but not at the boss and they start before I can even run there

“There are PvP solutions to this issue” was in my brain the whole time, ha! I was trying to call out for a group and it took awhile.

But I also considered that with the lack of any other bank in Remix, it might have crossed over from rude PvPer to blocking players from accomplishing tasks (even if that task was cleaning bags).

But also, from the reporting griefing article, the top reason is:
** Someone is intentionally disrupting the gameplay in the zone.*

They were very much intentionally disrupting gameplay in the zone. Not arguing against your point, but when I searched if it was reportable, the link I posted above is what I found and it says nothing about it happening over days. But I’ll take the post you linked to as confirmation as such.

They were still a jerkface and I reserve the right to call them that.

Can’t keep up with they all stack speed and you do not

I don’t do it in raids but I power through heroic dungeons to carry my friends or my other account for leveling and I’ll wait at boss rooms that I know lock out, but there’s a limit. I swear to god some people are individually checking loot on each corpse and writing an analysis thesis on it

they are also pulling the next boss before we can loot chests and then Im getting that ‘in combat’ crap.
Ive decided if they rush to the chest, loot and then shoot the next mob/boss and lock me out, Im just gonna stand there and not participate until I can loot.
I really dont care if its going to mail it to me or not. Rude is rude. Play WITH the team or get out of group content.

because your point has brought up OTHER related issues WE might be having?

I know that this mentality is super popular.

But hear me out.

I play the game because I like to play the game.

I queued to heal a raid or a dungeon because I wanted to heal a raid or a dungeon.

Same. I was in a dungeon last night. Jade Temple. After fish boss, most went the back way to the courtyard. 1 went and soloed the library. Killed the last boss and ran back nd got my loot.

Hasn’t leaving people behind so they don’t get credit been a thing in queued retail dungeons for a while already? Pretty scummy behavior but it’s not exactly new.

The solution to this is to make sure you have hailstone in one of your tinker slots; it will ensure that you can damage bosses even if you are outside of the boss room.

And beyond that, it isn’t as though there is gear that is unique to given bosses anymore, it’s pretty much shared across the whole raid with the one exception being the manoroth shards… and if you are somehow getting locked out of the Garrosh fight with it’s unskippable rambling RP then that’s entirely on you.
