Because your AH sales do not all sell at the same time. Sure you could wait till you get to a mailbox but those of us with office jobs could probably bike to work. We don’t because a car has benefits that aid us that a Bike cannot. Faster time to office leaving more time for yourself… starts adding up.

If you were a AH goblin you’d know how huge a mailbox and an AH on the same mount is.
I paid 1.2 million in gold and I make in 1 month in the game around at least 1 million in gold, hardly hard to do or over priced in any means of the way. Gold while this xpac not as easy to earn or gain as it was in the past, its still easy enough to come by and to be millions ahead in the bank with it. Yes, and spend it on anything your heart desires.
I got the mount, and enjoy it. That is all that matters, fact is for all those who have gotten it. That is all that matters, the opinion of the peanut gallery doesn’t matter that much to them or at all.
I made a KILLING last evening crafting some items that the flippers ran the price up on. lol.
I got to sit at the crafting table (I hate it) on my mount and DIDNT have to keep running to the AH and mail box over and over every time my auctions were all bought up.
