somewhere around 2100 rating grants you a 1 per warband per season token for an elite set from previous seasons

I think that’s fair. Tie it into rating that players must earn. Hell, it might even make more people PvP.

Exactly.
People who see this think players want it to just APPEAR in their appearance tab. But we want to put in the effort, MORE so since it’d require 2100 over 1800 for current seasons. so long as what’s there is STILL there.

This would be so cool. I’ve always wanted the dragonflight Elite season 2 warrior, druid and dk sets that I missed, for example. Or the Shadowlands season 2 unchained sets! I’d even happily forgo a current seasons 1800 set, to get later on, for a shot to trade in the reward for one of those.

Sets are seasonable only. Blizzard confirmed twice that this wont change.
KS mounts were also seasonal only. Until they werent.
AOTC mounts were season only, until they weren’t.

PvP artifact weapon appearances are still available through honor level milestones.
So if you want to say never, thats on you.
But they have changed things, and will continue to do so.
Don’t be surprised if MoP/WoD Challenge Mode transmog also becomes available through 3400 either
