The Mythic Dungeon International returns November 1!

I’m just asking because delves were like kinda cool week 1 of the expansion so after weeks idk how u still find them fun do you just run T8 over and over or what

Mdi is fun but I prefer the great push

I’m aware. So my suggestion would be to get rid of the person or persons who’s job is to organize these events that only a fraction of people actually playing the game (much less anyone else) watch… who do nothing for most players other than reinforce unhealthy metas… and use that money to hire a new class designer who might actually be able to redesign some lesser played classes to make them part of conversation again. We’ll all be better for it.

The best thing about Delves isn’t what they have, it’s what they don’t have.

They can be done solo, and hell is other people, so not having other people there is a plus.

And they don’t have timers. There’s nothing I hate more than being rushed.

So you want blizzard to throw money away; awc, mdi, the great push all make blizzard money

I hate to say it, but the events are highly promotable and bring Blizzard money. As normal players we just pay our sub, streamers and the elite players bring them more exposure. That’s the nature of business at this point. We’re the normies that will get strung along and these guys get a dedicated Discord with deva lol.

Naw the game was runined when they made content accessible to more people with LFD and LFR. That was the biggest mistake

Translation: “There are way too many subscribers to the game, and this needs to be fixed.”

Well you probably only feel rushed because you don’t understand the dungeon. Mythic keys are more about fluid and smooth gameplay where everyone pulls their weight. Do you feel rushed doing heroic or mythic raids?

Reply for both.

I would honestly be shocked if these events make Blizzard any real money after the sunk costs. Less people watch them than an average Asmongold stream.

That said, no one knows exactly how much they make or don’t make, so it’s a moot point to discuss. All I know is if they actually turned a profit, I would think there would be another 0 at the end of the viewer ship - and they would be more of a talking point during the public shareholders meetings.

There was more subs when they didnt have LFD and LFR

I don’t do group content.

They get a bunch of sponsors that’s where the money comes from

I’ve posted this in so many threads and will continue to do so:

How do you know somebody doesn’t like M+? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you.

Right, but the sponsorship money is proportional to the viewership count… and there’s very real, measurable metrics on those.

A lot of e girls are the same way I guess it’s cool tho

I have always heard that they were a net loss. Compared with other real esports, they are barely watched. That’s why the program was severely cut back in later years.

Last I saw on most of them they did decent numbers, but I only really watch the great push now

If they didn’t make money they wouldn’t keep doing them

Oh I agree they aren’t a loss for Blizzard, but what I believe is that based on the viewer count, it isn’t much over the sunk costs and if I were to guess, they approach them like they did Blizzcon - Blizzcon lost them money almost every year, but they still hosted it… until they dropped the ball a few too many times during it, so it no longer even had a use-case as a good publicity & marketing expense.

Also stopping them would have a similiar chilling effect as server merges - so there’s actually a price they’d have to pay to not keep committing to them.

Public forum is public my guy. :woman_shrugging:

The point is anyone can give feed back, even cute lil angry guys like you lol :beers:
