The one you quoted was in response to you telling people that they should dump their friends when they outlive their usefulness.
If you bothered to read even the comment that you quoted, you would see it still reinforces what I originally said, that it should feel satisfying and not just be frustratingly difficult.
For players who struggle with going from 2 to 3 in the new system, they cannot feel any sense of accomplishment and will feel frustrated by the difficulty and feel stunted.
If it was the old system, they could advance from 2 to 3, or 5 to 6, or 7 to 8, etc., and feel a sense of accomplishment and advancement. Meanwhile you would be jumping into 20 which would be fine for you, and all the no goods beneath you could be struggling through the 9s and 10s and it wouldn’t affect you one bit.
But it would mean a lot to THEM.
