The Maw makes me want to quit this expansion

It’s nice as a century when you can port up.

You should see the bg forums, afkers won’t stop crying cuz blizz asks them to be engaged for a couple rated bgs or arenas once a week

OR - now here me out here - they could have made it fun, and people want to be there, and make an enjoyable video game.

Just my thoughts.

Ok so what I’m gathering is that you want all the mobs on top of each other in a 12x12ft map where you can infinitely aoe them and collect all of their loot.

Is that what you really want?

Stop whining…

No. That’s not what anybody wants, stop trolling.

The Maw is extraordinarily boring, time consuming, and as with all of Ion’s creations, exists solely for the purpose of existing. The Maw sucks, and makes me want to quit as well.

See RP wise and immersion wise the maw and torghast are great and they really did good job telegraphing what the maw and tower are supposed to be in wow universe.

BUT…

Gameplay wise it’s soooo bad omg sooo bad. Not being able to mount. Like omggggg get me out

I’m in the same boat.

I’m 50/50 on weather to stay or not, and the Maw is the biggest motivator to leave.

I imagine the souls damned to spend eternity there feel the same way.

It’s really bad. The maw is exactly what not to do if fun is your goal

I’m only about a quarter of the way through Bastion & so far the only good thing about this expac is the artwork. Everything else is leaving me either cold, or intensely frustrated.

Maybe I’d enjoy playing one of my other characters more, I dunno, but so far, as a Fire Mage, Bastion has just been tedious & hateful.

Nothing about the Maw is difficult. It’s just boring & unenjoyable, at least to me.

Sorry, I think it’s poorly designed. Now, so far Bastion has been quite difficult, but not in an enjoyable way.

So once the Maw is no longer difficult, it will just be annoying.

This too- if they honestly thought that the Maw without being mounted was ‘fun’, there wouldn’t be a reward that granted you a mount to use in the Maw.

Much like flying- if the game was more fun without it, nobody would do pathfinder.

Laughs at you in my Druidic tongue

The Maw is unfun and designed to be irritating, obviously, as the initial endgame zone. They kind of went over the top with the irritation of it, but it’s kind of a loyalty test for what WoW players will put up with. They know very well that it is not enjoyable for pretty much any player, so it’s really a test of how much we will put up with in terms of content designed to not be enjoyable – a test of how addicted players are, in other words.

The results of the test should be interesting.

Just means you can’t simply ZugZug the content and actually need to try.

Blizzard has spoiled the player base. Now everyone expects god-like power before the expansion is even a week old. People have been begging for a challenge, and now here it is! This is exactly what classic was/is: mobs that hit hard, areas with dense mobs, and a few silver for your day. Maybe give it a month before you throw your hands up in the air in a fit.

oh no, a game have difficulties!!! how dare them!!!. Blizzard my fragile ego cant endure this, please make everything easier! buuuuaaaa

Stop crying for idiotic things, now, you don’t like the game, you are free to go. no one is stoping you.

I’ve yet to run out of time in the maw.

That’s not a positive thing. It’s THAT boring. I just leave and queue dungeons instead. Knowing Blizzard, though - Instead of actually fixing the issue they’ll just proceed to tie even MORE player power into it to make it more mandatory.
