Worgen population is miniscule, tiny. Not enough are seen to make it an issue, problem is there are A LOT of Druids so they get seen more often, hence why they get called out more often.
One of them is a mount, other is a travel form.
We too have a class exclusive mount as does every class.
I’m not making any comparison beyond the fact that they are abilities tied to a specific race or class, and pointing to the fact that one being disallowed while the others are not is a logical inconsistency.
If it is not a logical inconsistency, then explain how a Warlock is able to summon every demon but one to their aid in the Maw.
Love the mental gymnastics you’re going through because you’re scared your bull**** pseudo-mount will get nerfed and you’ll have to endure the Maw like the rest of us have to. Imagine what it’d be like if you didn’t have a “get away from everything free” card with infinite instant root breaks too.
Ok so if we nerf druid travel form then we get to nerf chaos bolt too?
This has been gone over before. Your MOUNTS refuse your summon in the Maw. Druids are not calling a mount, they are changing form. Worgen are not calling a mount, they are dropping to all fours and running. Shaman are not calling a mount, they are changing shape. None of them are calling a mount.
I’m sure on some planet this retort made sense.
The answer is actually pretty simple.
Form / Stance is not a Mount. Even if the form functions like a mount.
If defensive stance moved like a mount it would still be a stance.
Summon dreadstead is a mount not a form.
Maw doesn’t allow mounts even if the mount is a summoned pet
That’s it. Blanket block of all mounts (excluding some special ones we can obtain like Corridor Creeper but forms are allowed.
If you have a slow class or a fast class that’s just how it is. They won’t change the game for the slow classes obviously.
EDIT: But feel free to cry about it.
Night Elf and Human are at the top. Velf, Draenei and Worgen follow.
There was even a thread here asking who was switching to Worgen for the Maw.
And it sucks. But I also posted that for a bit of amusement, as I’ve done in other threads. Most just respond with, “shh, don’t remind Blizz!” Here, people got defensive over something I wasn’t even referencing.
You and I aren’t even having the same discussion. Please read again.
i meant class perk. druid travel form is a class perk that makes you want to pick a druid just like chaos bolt hitting so hard is a warlock class perk. both drive people to pick either class so it would be the same.
Have you not been reading this thread, the big conversation is about the lock mount being a demon and the fact they can summon ALL other demons but one makes no sense in any manner.
Stopped reading there. Chaos noodle hits for almost less than an autoattack now.
I think blizz can throw warlocks this one bone. It does make sense from class flavor standpoint.
oh i didnt know ive only played druid this expansion. Last time i remembered playing my lock it was hitting for 40% of someones health in pvp which is a lot.
Leave Druids alone!
I did read it. Did you not read everyone’s reply? It is a MOUNT so no you can’t call it. A Warlock’s other demon servants are not mounts. That is the distinction. Whether the mount is a demon, beast, mechanical, does not matter.
If we aren’t, then why address me at all? Let alone to dismiss my entire position as “nonsensical and ridiculous” despite apparently not being part of the “same discussion” in the first place, unless you just want to get out of the conversation altogether which I would understand at this point.
That was buffed with a pvp talent that increased it’s damage by 75%. All gone now. Incinerate is higher damage in a lot of cases.
I play a Druid, and I do have to agree how they did the restrictions really feels unbalanced.
Druids get full mount speed.
Worgens get full mount speed.
Shamans get Ghost Wolf
Rogues get a small buff (not sure if thats spec specific or any rogue)
Several classes get CD based speed buffs
And many classes get JACK.
It’s poorly balanced. Had they brought in a QUEST early on for you to tame one of those rideable dog things (the ones you steal) it would have been fine. But, no such luck. Everyone is stuck until they can get the one single mount (referenced several times, that you have to get layer 6 completed to get).
And when you think about mechanical mounts, it makes even less sense it refuses to obey. It’s a machine for crying out loud!
So, its poorly balanced and not well thought out. Which is going to hurt people’s long term view of the Maw. The “screw you” attitude toward fair balanced mobility for everyone.
You were the one who originally replied to me and kept trying to argue with me, then claimed you’re not arguing what you were arguing.
This isn’t on me.
Because from the discussion we were having that you said you weren’t, it was nonsensical.
Considering you’re now saying you aren’t having that argument that I quoted, all I can assume is that you didn’t actually read or understand what I said and thus we are here, with your rebuttals not making sense and the reason why they weren’t.
I posted the exact conversation we were having. None of what I was saying was about the OP. Which was pretty evident if you would have actually comprehended it.
I. Am. Not. Talking. About. The. OP.
I never was.
