I’m 40-years old and when people start talking about the stock market, I feel like I’m 10 
I have stocks but I don’t know a damn thing about them.
I mean, obviously there’s going to be a 2021 strain. Same as this is Corona-2019 or whatever.
Someone posted a pic of Lysol killing Corona 2009 and I’m like, yes, because the corona family includes influenza. They discover new strains every year and name them after the year.
The stock price falling like this has nothing to do with how much money they’ll have for Shadowlands unless they were planning to sell stock to fund development.
Sounds to me like the world is telling us to get rid of the wimpy beer, then, eh? It is a plague in its own right.

Well, he did slash the infectious disease prevention budget for the past three years. Also, got rid of some advisory and planning.
Now the the U.S. is unprepared (Illidan meme comes to mind). Another Hurricane Katrina except the entire country is potentially affected.

The coronavirus is very common. The one from Wutan (spelling?) is different.

You reminded me… When the final reports for Hurricane Katrina came out and they said to prevent another Katrina would likely require a complex network of seawalls between the parishes, the politicians pulled at their collars at the cost and just said rebuild the levees and try to make them a little stronger, banking on another Katrina not happening in their lifetime.

I’m all for a strong national defense but the U.S. spends more than Russia and China and every other country who looks at the U.S. funny combined.
But when you’re in the same room as someone who is hacking and sneezing during this coronavirus epidemic, take comfort in the B-1s whizzing past your window.

In 2018, monitoring and preparedness against outbreaks in China was one of the areas that the CDC was forced to cut back on, and they never resumed the presence they had.
I’ll take comfort in my body’s ability to fend off illness given the kill rate of someone my age with this virus is roughly the same as the flu.
