The login screen in TWW is awful

I don’t find the loading screen particularly good or anything. Seems very underwhelming.

That said, the overwhelming majority look at it for seconds on a given play session. Not really a big deal IMO.

There’s always going to be ones who pick at everything no matter how big or small with this game.

I really do think the log in screen is fine.

We are on it for less than 40 seconds anyway(guesstimate).

I could not, with any confidence, describe any loading screen of any expansion from memory. Including DF.

I remember the weeks up until shadowlands release. The forums were full of “please don’t do what you’re about to do with covenants.” Like the fundamental systems design was outright broken.

Really, the worst I’ve seen about TWW has been “loading screen” and then of course the typical m+ trolls making nonsensical threads. A few specs unhappy about their design, but that’s nothing unique to TWW.

So yeah all that said, I’m pretty pumped for TWW

its 2024 and we still cannot pick which login screen we want to see… I’d rather see Wotlk login screen everytime I log into WoW it brings memories for few secs.

Yea. Who could forget this? I still hear people talk about this at work that haven’t played the game for years.

This login screen was epic. The music and roar of the dragon. Fantastic.

Apparently I could.

WotLK was such a meh expansion for me it actually made me unsub.

I wasnt big on WC3 when it was current. So riding on the coat tails of WC3 to make WotLK feel good didnt work on me as much. Because on its own? WotLK made the Lich King a very silly/bad villain.

I like the appearance after multiple expansions with loading screens that look like they were done by a kindergarten class the day the art teacher was a substitute. But it does have visual issues.

they will just change the colors, they’re lazy, the login screen is garbage, its a fact, but wow players always find a excuse to be passive about bad design until it become a large problem

I would say that while the art for 20 years has been good. Not every single piece of art ever put out has been good.

There have definitely been some duds show up regularly.

I dont see how this would be any different.

they’re at least were actual art, tww is just a hearthstone book, its normal to have a bad taste, but this new login screen being garbage and not art is just a fact
