The Lawsuit Seems Relatively Unsubstantiated

When an Oxford fellow is flagged for not providing enough evidence, we can be sure that the platform is compromised, imo.

That trial is held in the Media on twitter even on this forum. And right now Blizzard is one being held on trial.

I mean you have seen so many forum posts talking about how bad BLIZZARD not as many mentioning Afrasiabi despite him being directly involved.

He and and his fellow employees who were involved should be the ones were are tallking about.

C’mon. Someone who was literally fired years ago has anything to do with the garbage that is happening right now?

Pray tell…

I thought he was fired only recently as a result of this scandal.

You thought wrong.

So what you are saying is this Lawsuit is being filed a year late?

Nope. I’m saying it’s being filed because they had not reason to file it, they wasted 2 years of government (tax payers) funding, and have no repercussions by doing so, so they may as well.

But according to their own filings, they have no reason and don’t have any people they can point any fingers at

(I only say that, because I read it).

I mean they filed it because it’s the only way the can keep their jobs. If they didn’t file this, what excuse do they have for wasting the past years of doing nothing?

If it happen in 2020 and we only hear about it now then Blizzard may have covered it up.

In this case the argument if Blizzard should have been transparent about this even if they dealt with it and doing so could potentially damage the company.

But In the end I have a feeling that there may be more individuals involved in the scandal that were not fired along with Afrasiabi hence the Lawsuit.

I think the reason you were flagged sir is because of this.

Just because you went to college does not automatically make you a lawyer unless you took classes in law …which you just admitted you did not.

I mean it’s reasonable. If the option is cut off an arm to save the body I think a lot of people would do it. That said Kotick has been the subject of sexual harassment lawsuits too. I think it’s less a “sacrifice Blizzard to save Activision” and more " the war will be too long to fight every battle. Just group them up and fight CA".

At the end of the day. Whether the claims are true or not, we need to crack down harder on businesses sexually harassing employees or having a culture of wage discrimination so that we can finally make the USA great.

Reading a bunch of WoW spergs insulting each others intelligence is peak irony.

Dozens and dozens of former and current employees confirming these allegations seems to be fairly substantial imo. Add to the dismissal of the head of HR, AA, and J.A.B leaving?

Its more about wanting other people to know they are true. The victims already know the truth.

Yeah. That question has occurred to me more than once. So, since conjecture and speculation is all the rage right now, I have some conjectures of my own.

There’s blood in the water now, so the sharks are circling. And the Hotel California is one of the biggest sharks out there. And now Blizz appears to be in their cross-hairs for some reason above and beyond the blood in the water even. I wonder why.

So a few thoughts entered my mind. Rationally, it could be anything of course, but certain things occur to me that seem way more plausible than most of what I’ve seen from the witch-hunters on this forum. lol.

The very existence of this second lawsuit (and who knows how many more in the pipeline), give the twitter jury more to yap about, whether it’s bogus or not. If it turns out to be bogus, that fact won’t be talked about. So…harm done.

Food for thought.

First question…Why would Blizz be such a prime target and why would anyone or any entity try so hard to bring about their Cancel-Culture downfall. Seems pretty far fetched, right? Yep. Hmm, but wait. Seems to me that the most likely would be a competitor. Where big bucks are concerned, being far fetched becomes not so far fetched after all.

With that in mind, there are a few competitors who would love to have Blizz’s market share. Suddenly there’s blood in the water so more than one could potentially decide to don their shark hats and jump in the water.

Next question…Who (or what entity) would actually be likely to go for it? Answer (to my mind) is that it would likely be a who/what that already enjoys a monopoly of market shares outside of the game industry but currently is developing a game. Such an entity would likely covet the large market share that Blizz has enjoyed for so long and would have the money and influence with a corrupt political entity to orchestrate the company’s demise and further their own desire to add a possible new monopoly to the monopoly. (from behind the scenes of course)

Well, there’s actually a lot more to these idle thoughts that occurred to me but I frankly am not invested enough in it to spend more time on it. Let’s just say, Hey, here’s another possibility. I know it’s not fashionable now to utter possibilities that don’t support the witch hunt, but there it is. So sue me.

–Disclaimer: As said, this is all idle conjecture, speculation, & wool gathering, and no, I’m not one of those (like so many others here) who believe that my conjectures must be true by virtue of the fact that it’s my mind they entered. LOL. It means nothing, but then that’s on par with so much of the rest of the conjecture and speculation on this forum, so whatever.

That is what people have been doing with your takes, Luup.

This forum is full of sheltered misogynists, what else is new?

Dude. You’re well educated on the subject as you’ve actually read the file. People here aren’t and are going to point fingers because twitter and other people told them to do so.

I want to congratulate you on actually having a brain and not being a sheep like most of the people here.

Your post is entirely false.

Both Afrasiabi and Brack are named. Does 1 - 10 will be named at trial, if not earlier in discovery when filed, which by that point, may well be many more.

The reasons the CA DFEH filed are in the filing. Blizzard as a company allowed several employees and managers to break so many CA Labor laws it had to step in.

The 2nd lawsuit, the Shareholder Class Action suit is because Blizzard broke Federal Securities law.

Bad troll is bad.
