The Lawsuit Seems Relatively Unsubstantiated

Not that it matters, but FYI, this is the only character I’ve ever posted on in this forum. In fact I usually have to see insults about my avatar level making my opinions somehow invalid, by the pea brains who value that above all else. I personally don’t give a fat, flying flip.

Ever notice how the people calling it fake are always being incredibly vague?

Average IQ anywhere is pretty bad if you look at it. The issue is intelligent people tend to fall alongside what’s called the “K selective theory” where they might have a small amount of children but put a lot of work into their upbringing. This is commonly symbolized by the wolf because this is the behavior of wolves.

Dumb people on the other hand engage in the opposite which is called “r selective theory” which is symbolized by the rabbit. Bottom line to that, they breed like rats and put absolutely zero effort into their offspring.

In doing this given innate intelligence being heavily genetic, eventually stupid people outnumber smart people because they breed like rats and pass along no intelligence. Kind of like having a small bit of wine in a glass and then just adding more and more water to it. It’s diluted as hell and almost nonexistent.

That’s fine. Reason I asked is because there was an orc above giving me these exact same talking points and he wasn’t what I would consider intelligent. His brain was as smooth as a newborn’s stomach. Given he disappeared then you come out of nowhere with the exact same talking points, I imagine you can understand the confusion so my apologies.

Well, you know orcs…

Had you gotten your degree in English like I did, you would be knowledgeable on anything that is written in English, unfortunately you chose History which is obviously the least important subject since we gain nothing from looking at and studying history :stuck_out_tongue:

Because the bulk of people don’t bother educating themselves any more than they are required. College and maybe their job are the only places as adults that they might educate themselves beyond what they have leaving high school aside from learning from life experiences.

I personally read an hour a day in various subjects because it equates to 365 hours of knowledge I didn’t have prior. Though I’m an economics dweeb so it isn’t like I need to be constantly educating myself. I just do it because it’s fun to me.

I agree, but see above why I used that particular point.

Hard muscles, smooth brain?

They have a brain?

Huh. Learn something new every day I guess

No, that’s not what’s going on. The organization that filed it is the state labor board, who did so in response to a complaint. Their job is to investigate complaints. In order to do that they need to file a case so that they have standing to request evidence.

Interesting. Well, I haven’t read every single post in this thread yet and when I reply to something, I haven’t necessarily read anything that followed it until after I’ve replied. My bad. As for my post you initially replied to, and took somewhat personal, it was aimed at people in general, not necessarily targeting you personally except for the “faith in CA” thing, and how people are so convinced that “it must be true” whenever CA says something. I still hold to what I said in that post. People these days really, really need to start doing their own research. And having done so myself for some time now, on a number of subjects, I can attest to the horrible feeling it is when finding out you’ve been bamboozled and naive.

If it’s that obvious then surely ActiBlizz should go to court. EZ win, right?

Wow. Seriously? You seriously believe this is true? Well, I’m one who disagrees with you on that most vehemently. History is everything. From the micro to the macro. Even animals use history, but only their own and often with tragic results. Even though it’s at a basic level with animals, the principle is the same. They learn moment by moment, by experience, and pay the price. As for humans, we are capable of learning history of others and those who came before us, and decide if a current course of action is advisable. If we don’t know or care about “real” history we are no better than animals having to find out everything the hard way. Or as the old saying goes Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Do note, I don’t care for the state, its people, or their over the top political nature. I simple said when California decides to get involved, it’s because they’re pretty confident they’ll win. They don’t bother with 75-25 odds on things.

It’s like when big name lawyers jump on board of things, they tend to pick winning battles unless they’re like Gloria Allred who capitalizes more on the exposure than victories.

ROFL, ok you got me there. If it was sarcasm, you’re right, I missed it. You sounded serious. But nerd? Give me a break, man. I don’t “identify” as a nerd so I’m “offended.” (/s of my own). I’m just an old lady who has seen more than I wish I ever had in this life, and it shows sometimes. LOL

That’s kind of the problem presently today in society. We’re already repeating the mistakes of Rome and Baghdad, or any prominent empire. If you like to read and have about an hour to kill, I recommend Fate of Empires by Sir John Glubb. It’s a pretty jarring read when you compare the similarities of now and how we’re walking in their footsteps point for point.

There’s a reason I ended that joke of a sentence with a very not-serious :stuck_out_tongue: which was a continuation of a little joke that was being made between me and another poster. maybe dont be so quick to clutch those pearls if you’re going to gloss over the context in which things were said. Good thing it’s history now so you can study it and learn from it.

Haven’t read that but I’m going to now. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m a total history buff but sometimes find myself focusing on certain time periods for so long that I miss out on other time periods for a while, that are equally interesting and/or important.
