The game would die. People are tired of the Sylvanas “Mary Sue” Windrunner. Nobody cares about the Jailer. The writing has been especially bad the last two xpacs, and if they do what you suggest a ton of players would get fed up and leave. I imagine if they surveyed the entire WoW population the majority would want Sylvanas dead and gone so we don’t have to see the wild logic leaps and plot holes riddling her story.
