IMO Blizzard should just shut down the imbalanced servers and then move the guilds that remain on these servers to specific locations in order to maximize the balance of the server’s.
Then distribute the non-guilded solo players accordingly again to maximize the balance of the servers.
This will eliminate a lot of crap.

That’s the issue though, people won’t just want to follow guilds. They will want to follow friends. That’s what the big issue is, I think.

I highly disagree with this statement and past facts would as well.
If we have say 15 unbalanced servers before server transfers, what these paid transfers will do is balance out about 4-5 of these 15 servers, and making the remaining ones even more unbalanced.
So again, some of the unbalanced servers will become more unbalanced however we will see more balanced servers overall, with a few being completely unbalanced. This is also nothing new and there have been very very very unbalanced server since wow’s very first day of launch in 2004
Right, defend yourself. When your sever is 7 to 1, Getting zerged by crappy players who cant actually pvp, but have the numbers to steam roll you, has no defense. Easy to say from the horde side.

Only a tiny minority of players even posts on the forums/reddit/etc… and of that tiny minority, they’re still in the minority of that minority.
