Whinah The Alliance is sitting on multiple super weapons and are using none of them
OFCOURSE THE HORDE IS WINNING
FYI when the Alliance decides to use the Vindicaar, Gallywix will shoot it down using an azurite shell from his cannon in Azshara. I am calling it now.
The cinematic seems to be right after the Siege of Lordaeron (Soldiers arriving dead from the blight explosion). By that time the horde was indeed winning, but the tides are going to shift in the Siege of Zuldazar.

Taugra Wars aren't about stacking bodies. There's no score board.
aw dammit, thats how i have been keeping score. now what am i suppose to with this pile of horde corpses
For the last time stop fighting on the roads! Look, that rogue just sneaked right past you and capped stables!
HKs mean nothing if you let the horde 5 cap!
Did you see that Lost Honor cinematic? Alliance is going to the farmers soon, at least for the Humans. Meanwhile, Sylvanas is over here raising people left and right.
So maybe nobody is "winning" Horde and Alliance wise because of all the death. However, Sylvanas is raking it all in so I guess the Horde technically wins because we have Zombie queen making more Zombies.
According to the Lost Honor cinematic , Sylvanas is winning the war it would seem. Does this mean her tactics while being evil, were the correct choice for the Horde to win the war?
"her tactics, while being evil..."
What? It's medieval high fantasy, should we list medieval examples of where entire cities were razed? Why do you guys keep interjecting modern morality into medieval high fantasy?
I agree with you on that point, but we are expected to feel a certain way about the way the war is fought.
The cinematic isn't exactly accurate since during the 8.1 patch the alliance is said to be "mere weeks away from winning the war" due to massive horde casualties on the warfronts and the death of Rastakhan. This is also before the cinematic. what anduin meant, I think, Is that he cannot stop sylvanas short of exterminating the entire horde because of how much influence she wields over it, And anduin doesn't want to do that since he foolishly believes in peace.
There's actual dialog that states that The Alliance is weeks from total victory after the alliance's attacks on Zul'dazar.
The Forsaken are not The Scourge. The Blight is not The Plague of Undeath. People they kill do not reanimate on their own. The Forsaken have a few Valkyr raising the dead one at a time, and that's it. Fewer after the Night Elves kill two of them. They can not raise bodies at a rate that can compensate for military incompetence.
The Horde is canonically losing as of 8.1.0. It is not a matter of opinion, it is a fact of the narrative. We'll see if Sylvanas's plans for the Proudmoore boy's corpse can turn that around but so far her ideas haven't really been winners.

It wasn't ignored, the 7th legion table often gives an attack on the cannon.
LOL! Horde has been winning the war since 2004.

Yeah, and the Horde gets missions to repair it after the Alliance sabotages it all the time. And the devs have said it WILL be used.
War doesn't decide who is right.
Just who is left.
You're aware "winning" is entirely reliant on the plot, right?
Garrosh was winning until the plot needed him to lose. The Legion beat us back and started winning, then the plot picked up and we won. Sylvanas is winning now because there needs to be dramatic tension. In two patches, the plot will require her to lose and she'll lose.
This isn't Game of Thrones. Actions have zero consequences.
History is written by the victor, and for that no side will ever win
And the devs have said it WILL be used.
welp, looks like bilgewater harbor is about to be wiped off the map when gallywix's pride blows up when they try to fire it

And the plot is written by Horde fanboys who worship their waifu. So we know how this will turn out.
Again, There's dialogue that suggests the alliance is weeks away from winning the war as of 8.1. All these comments and the original post are pointless.
