To be honest I can’t even see High Elves going to Silvermoon to conquer it. Most seem to live in Dalaran and the rest in other Alliance cities or scattered lodges. They all HAVE homes. There’s no reason for them to relocate to Quel’Thalas at this point. Aside from the fact they’d never be able to maintain the same level of infrastructure the Blood Elves have due to the Sin’dorei’s higher population, the High Elves don’t have much reason to do much with the Sunwell either.
From a Lore and Gameplay perspective, there is no reason for High Elves to either return to Quel’Thalas (either as Conquerors or just rejoining Thalassian Society), or want anything to do with it.

yeah the vast majority of them chose to leave on their own or have settled elsewhere anyway and have no reason to want to go back unless it’s out of spite
Yeah for fraction assault. See there a jungle one were you have to go in a rescue troops for gnome one. If done on night elf you assassinated the horde leaders in area. If done on void elf same quest but have to kill horde leaders for a drop. Have to collect 10 drops. It all same name quest. Dang trying to remember name and not coming to me. The core thing is changes objectives base on race. Very strange. the Dino one in that swamp also different. Then Dino has one extra power than other race.

They would probably view it as more of a liberation from the oppressive government of Silvermoon.
Considering the Void Elves are in the Alliance now and state its because they don’t want their knowledge in the hands of the Horde I can see them as seeing it that way too.
Interesting.
So the Incursions behave differently depending on the race your character is while doing it?
Is there a place to see all the differences? Because honest, I’d love that.
So far it alliance side thing and only happens for incursion on horde territory. Not seen it on alliance side because I missed them do to work. Hoping to catch one to see.

My predictions:
The Void Elves will lead an assault on Silvermoon, gain control of the Sunwell, and use it to purify themselves of the void corruption (some decide to not to, remaining Void Elves). Blizzard’s version of playable High Elves are born.
Then the Sunwell becomes unstable and explodes violently, destroying Silvermoon City in the process (so they can rebuild it for flying later). In the Sunwell’s place a new Twilight Well has formed with cultists gathering around the area, and Silvermoon is released as a new Warfront during this time as well.

Because the Blood Faction is still in power, and the Blood Faction has chosen to remain in the Horde.
ew, yuck ew ew /sprays water bottle at
Meanwhile Silvermoon’s head of government is perfectly okay with forceful brainwashing and mind control for perceived wrongthink.
Can’t imagine why any High Elf wouldn’t want to go back there.
Blood Elves never should have joined the Horde in the first place. TBH the Worgen fit the horde theme better than the Blood Elves.
TBC should have given Blood Elves to the Alliance and Goblins to the Horde once you got a character to max level. This would give Kael’Thas a reason to go all ape-shiz on his own people and get kicked out. Then we push him back to the Sunwell fight /kill him and the Draenei chuck the dead Naaru in to purify it.
Then the Draenei should have joined the Alliance in Cataclysm and the Worgen should have joined the Horde. Nobody likes these flea ridden chimney sweepers anyway.
nice this just had to be revived didn’t it…
