Sure.
You die on that hill.
Sure.
You die on that hill.
Im pointing out that they are putting Alliance High Elves in Alliance story somewhere every expansion. Adding more each expansion. at the same time your sitting arguing they are not in the Alliance.
stop strawmanning
Modern high elves are a rare sight, and are commonly mistaken for blood elves. In consequence, there are very few high elves left on Azeroth today. High elves did not gather in any significant numbers and are a very small group of individuals. Indeed, modern high elves cannot even truly be said to have a cultureâonly a past filled with glory and regret. As a people, the high elves are all but extinct: the remnants of the remnants of a fallen race.
caydiem quote as well
In short, High Elves are not playable because there are very few true âHigh Elvesâ left â far less so than Gnomes.

Except this is what I was responding to.
To that I say; no, you die on that hill.
Except skipping WoD and, what 4 and a siege engine in BFA?
BFA, there are more High Elves in Stormwind and the rift since BFA started
those are tied up with the void elves, and only appear if you unlocked void elves. their implication is obvious and confirmed out of game by steve danuser
Wonder what theyâre doing there?
And you mean to tell me that they arenât just the oneâs that were already in Storm Wind moving around?
Theyâre looking to end their dependence on the Sun Well, and thus the Horde.
What?
The only group Iâll contest is I donât think you can straight up assume that the full force of Allerian Stronghold would stay with the Alliance as they did not make the decision to split from their people like the other high elves, and that many may have wanted to return home for one reason or another.
Iâm just saying that repeated use of High Elves in expansions (which is definitely lessening as time goes on) doesnât mean much in terms of numbers, especially when youâre doing things like counting one group from one expansion three times. Alliance Vanguard contains both Wintergard Keep and the Valiance Expedition.
the Sorceresses, and the mage trainer all in portal handlers, The Wayfarer High elves that come from Stormwind into the rift.
So youâre snipping the conversation to try and prove a point. Neat.
I will restate again then.
We compared player race populations that number in the hundreds to thousands.
Void Elves are a few dozen scholers on a rock literally referred to as an elite crack squad.
Draenei are a few hundred as stated in Rise of the Horde.
Lightforged where almost wiped out as stated in the intro quest.
Darkspear are listed as almost extinct in their racial description.
Magâhar populations are up in the air.
Gnomes are a few thousand at best.
The numbers âargumentâ is dead on arrival.
And are they meant to represent an army of Alliance high elves, or are those just moving around? In this case to where Void Elves were made.
The Alliance Vanguard oversees the forces of the Alliance that have established themselves throughout Northrend. Spearheaded by the Valiance Expedition, the Alliance Vanguard consists of the following factions:
Valiance Expedition - The main army of the Alliance in Northrend, unified under King Varian Wrynnâs command.
Explorersâ League - An organization dedicated to researching the origin of the dwarven race.
The Frostborn - Having recently befriended the Explorersâ League, the frost dwarves have agreed to join the Alliance.
The Silver Covenant - A militant faction of the Kirin Tor, these high elves have recently teamed up with the Vanguard.
Their Horde counterpart is the Horde Expedition.
they team up temporarily, just like the sunreavers did with the horde expedition, then return to dalaran at the conclusion of wrath. they like to put way more into, just like everything else
You snipped a conversation to prove a point. Neat. You even deliberately misquoted to make it look like I responded to a different part of your post. Then complained about exactly what you were doing. And to be fair, the rest of it ignored any of our points anyway, kinda more of the same.
Also I donât think I made an argument, I just boomeranged your weak jab.
They are there to represent High Elves In Stormwind.
Are there any actual solid Blizzard provided numbers you can point to?
Because if no, whatâs the point in arguing this?
Why on Azeroth are people using population as an argument?
Numbers is the worse argument anyone could use.
oh yes ofc! they are there to represent a MASSIVE, UNSEEN alliance high elf population
Yah its called game scale look it up.
