oh they could get really crazy with wow. have race factions set up thusly…

all elves vs. all dwarves/gnomes/draenei vs. all furries vs. all orcs/trolls/goblins vs. all humans (undead are humans)

so 5 factions. haha

But the Sylvanas fans would want the Banshee Queen to lead the Elves, I could see and argument for Thalyssra, I don’t think the Hordies would be lead by a NE. But I agree it could get wildt. They could give us a council leadership lol I suppose! Considering

the elves could have whatever their elf leader is. so the blood elf district would have lor’themar. sylvannas would need her own elves. lol maybe san’layn.

I know there is a lot of people out for her head, and I can see if NEs was my fav race I’d have unsubscribed or be upset. But I have to say if I don’t like what happens in SL with her I will probably leave

If she goes out I want a Padme Amidala state funeral procession. I want Dark Rangers flanking the procession in honor. A statue somewhere mmmm I’m trying to think what would placate me lol

your character wakes up to realize its not really sylvannas. since she jumped off icecrown in the end of wotlk, she’s been kept in some other dimensional prison, and the current sylvannas is a doppelganger of a dreadlord. its revealed in shadowlands and later patches in the shadowlands expac lead to a rescue of the real sylvannas. everyone breathes a sigh of relief that crazy lady was not the real mccoy.

i think i actually made a theory thread about it a while ago. the arguments against it were pretty solid in some cases.

here’s another possibility. ever heard of the youtuber, pyromancer? he thinks the “light” is gonna turn out to be the bad guy this time and sylvannas is gonna end up being a hero.

I have heard of him don’t think I’ve watched any videos but I’ll look that up!! I’m really only familiar with Hazel lol, whether I vibe more with feminine energy or what but the male wow youtubers I generally skip over based on I just don’t vibe with them.

But if the guy makes good lore arguments I’m all for listening!!

On other news, Blizzard fixed all high elf eyes. There’s no more bugged green-eyed high elves in the game. It also fixed thalassian Dark Ranger eyes.

Darnassian dark ranger and druid of the flame eyes are still bugged, thought.

The kaldorei dark rangers did have glowing eyes before they got bugged. The sin’dorei ones would require new textures that are probably not coming any time soon.

That’s not entirely accurate, but in a way makes perfect sense. Your statement does go straight to a core argument on this side of the fence; faction identity. I don’t play any blood elves, we’ve all seen my alt roll calls in the past. I’m not afraid it will diminish Blood Elves from the perspective of playing one. In fact, I’m not afraid of the change at all…I’m simply opposed to it.

There are people, several, in these threads who could not care less about faction identity…or for some, even factions themselves…as long as they get to play the race they want on the faction they’re in. Faction identity matters to me because factions matter to me.
