And also, do give the Void Elves a fair skin option, but maybe just a little towards the DK likes (of something little more towards the void, but not fully) as if they are transformed by the void, but no fully transformed.
Like, they would still have fair skin, but it would be just a shade darker than normalâŠ
Faction is irrelevant - in fact, this argument should work the opposite way: you say Void Elves and Nightborne were modified precisely because they were going to the opposite faction, while the rest of ARs donât need this overhaul precisely because they stayed on the same faction. Except Kul Tirans, ofc.
So Fat High Elves it is.

To me, the most reasonable compromise would be turning High Elves into Void Elves, maybe giving some slightly paler skin tones to help us roleplay.
More like why canât Blizz do this and write a lore reason for it. Cause I wouldnât mind this at all.

this is the thing we need to keep in mind. All the allied races up to this point were planned. Even vulpera as we saw them getting updates in datamining to make them in line with a playable race since before BFA launched and afterwards as well. They were not just a popular request that blizzard decided to fulfill.
Due to the story of shadowlands I doubt we will get anymore allied races until the very end of the expansion and even then they would be the covenant races we meet. After shadowlands is when we can hope to see fan requested races.
Also if the expansion after shadowlands turns out to be an old world revamp (which is severely needed at this point) I would rate it very highly to see long time requested races such as ogres, high elves, ect.
All I thought the differences the LFD had were Neon Lights.

they have a lot of unique things actually. Most infamously the horn style Yrel has that canât be gotten on normal draenei.
I donât play goat ppl, I only flirt with them.
The Alliance High Elf request didnât really pick up speed till after BFA had already been announced and they obviously had Kul Tiranâs planned at that point so iâm not even remotely shocked that we havenât seen them this expansion and i frankly donât even think we would see them till mid to late Shadowlands if at all.
With all the mounting support and the various methods and diagrams and even models weâve linked within the multiple Mega-threads, weâve essentially done the work for them, a bit of story connection and skeleton changes and weâre golden.
Iâll pay for my 5 race changes up front, please and thank you. 
maybe i could convince helfers to ask for half elves too or instead. then get the caucasian, asian and african human skins as options, with elf eyebrows, just shorter and elf ears, just shorter. some of talendrionâs half elf models were superb. you gotta admit our elf ears and eyebrows are way too long lol
Done well, with the spirit of High Elves heavily in-mind, this could easily work.
Talendrionâs mock-ups already look like the perfect way to implement this.
and blizzard has multiple paths to take. If they absolutely donât want to do an allied race for them take the least liked path of turning void elves into âexilesâ to represent all alliance thalassian elves.
Then there are half elves. Personally I would like this as options within a high elf allied race but they may just make half elves the race.
I wouldânt care or mind it we play factions not races.
