so at best she recognized a political distinction and proceeded to call them peasants living off the charity of dalaran whose future is to fade away leaving nothing behind but a half elf legacy and that they are not āhighā elves
its also worth noting when the SC arrived at suramar, they did so in the company of other kirin tor forces and with khadgar, the head of the council of six. i believe 5 showed up with the kirin tor forces backing the blood/night elven armies
I did that at summer camp once, and I wasnāt even drunk.

No idea why they take Elisandeās word as gospel.
Iāll simply point out, but the so called āsideā that tends to take her words as gospel, is yours, as they take it as her āacknowledgingā the differences of High elves despite the fact that she says they donāt even deserve the name.
Well, duh. Sheās the villain. Thatās what villains do.
Just because sheās a villain doesnāt mean that what she was saying was untrue, though.
So her criticism of blood elves āallying with misfits and monstersā is true too then? Well, thanks for clearing that up.
Thatās the part that they promote, that they donāt deserve the name. As if a raid boss that joined the legion and is smack talking is the ultimate authority.
Meanwhile she says this about blood elves.
āSinādorei? Of all the elves, I thought you might understand the choice I made to save my people. Instead, you ally with misfits and monsters. [ā¦] Each of you has debased your proud lineage. Each of you has forgotten the ancient power that is our birthright.ā

Elisandre was such a tool. Also how did she know any of this stuff since she was stuck in a bubble all that timeā¦
Her powers of telling the future obviously, which were so good she could see her peopleās only chance of survival was by allying with the legion.

The elite of the shalādorei was always watching the world outside. For instance, the augur guy was investigating the starts, Elisande was able to watch events outside (including in the past and in the future), and expeditions were sent outside for, among other things, bring beasts to their zoo. Also, punishment for crimes was to be exiled and die from magic starvation. It was just the common folk and self-absorbed nobles that were oblivious to the outside world.

So I guess the Silver Covenant disbanded during WoD because they werenāt present?
Unless something is stated otherwise, we cannot presume the status of a group. Congrats on realizing the Silver Covenant was around to be pointed out at being nothing but the remnants of remnants of remnants who have no relevance.

No, seeā¦ up until Legion, both the Sunreavers and Silver Covenant had guards in Dalaran - in their respective factionsā territory. During Legion, however, there were no Sunreaver or Silver Covenant guards in Dalaran. Silver Covenant forces did show up during the battle of Suramar, but no Sunreavers ever appeared during Legion.
If the Silver Covenant or the Sunreavers were still around during WoD, they were likely dealing with other matters, like possibly the Iron Horde stragglers who were still on Azeroth.
You know, magic nā stuff.
Unfortunately there is little way of knowing what they were or were not doing at the time. Very little is ever explained in game about the various groups.
For example, the only reason we think the SC is neutral is because they are residents of Dalaran, and Khadgar declared it as neutral. If Dalaran had been alliance aligned one could argue the SC as being alliance.
On the other hand, the Sunreavers are a part of the blood elves, who are a part of the Horde. hence we know they would not be neutral in the matter.
So in these aspects we have some idea of the story. On the other hand, in terms of disbanding that usually require explicit statements.
Sunreavers appeared in the mage campaign, thought. They were allowed back after Aethas offered Feloāmelorn to the Kirin Tor. Also, in 8.2, a Sunreaver sabotages Dalaranās weapon on top of the Violet CItadelās spire to the Legion, but Aethas this times warns the Kirin Tor, and the Sunreavers helped restore the weapon.
As any class, you can fly up to the top of the tower and see the Sunreavers from the quest there.
Thatās not to say that all Sunreavers returned. There are probably some who wouldnāt trust the Kirin Tor anymore. But the group still exists and is back on Dalaran.

Both factions also killed a bunch when we rescued Baine.
A sunreaver sabotaging Dalaran? Why would anyone consider kicking them out? Though at least Aethas warned them this time.

Its likeā¦using a traitor to pass judgement on an entire group is a bad idea and results in bad consequences.
Were there more Sunreavers in the Baine rescue other than Magister Hathorel? I only remember him, the other mages being from various races. We didnāt kill him either, as he protected himself in an Ice Block before we could defeat him.
