So you’re saying the Alliance goes to war with its own people during the attack on Dire Maul?

We’ve only seen previous Shen’dralar who aren’t mages. Remember the group who returned to the night elves was quite small. Simply because there were members of the group who weren’t mages doesn’t mean it’s a foregone conclusion that there are current members who aren’t. Especially as the current group have joined specifically in order to train new mages.

No, that’s not accurate. They joined because they didn’t have any other place to go, and some of those Shen’dralar offered to teach Night Elves the arts of the arcane. That doesn’t mean all of the Alliance Shen’dralar are only mages.

Yes late again, but whatever

I just gotta say
I don’t expect everyone to know every bit of lore, it’s practically impossible to know everything but
I just find it almost offensive, even as someone that really dislikes Night elves, that not only you called Nightborne lore the same as the Highborne (specifically, the Shen’dalar) and that you reduce night elves to just their skin and hair colors
and that you got people backing you up while reducing night elves to this only because “muh high elves”.

Just because you refuse to see the differences between Night Elves and Nightborne doesn’t mean they’re not there. They exist for a reason, just like the differences Void elves have exist for a reason.

Perhaps the aforementioned “Denial Box” is where you should curl into.

You were correct in the first part, not so much in the last one.

It’s been specified the sorcerers where the ones that settled in Darnassus.

And also, while looking into this I found out Maiev was killing Highborne freely and even attemped to take the life of Mordent Evershade
I just found this little detail very interesting.

Got any examples?

Under the list of surviving Highborne (presumably, after Maiev’s purge) NPCs, only 7 out of the 19 (I’m not counting the 3 giving quests at Dire Maul and friendly to both sides), are not listed specifically as mages since they’re quest givers and even then, they dress in stereotypically mage-y clothes.

Of the remaining seven five are Lorekeepers which is a librarian.

And of the remaining two, one of them asks you to go get his spellbook back and the other enchants a banner for you.

So uh, probably mages too.

Good morning all. How’s everyone?

We wake up at the same time or something? Anywho I’m doing well, nice to finally have a day off work. Seriously considering leveling a Void Elf right now to give them another chance

I am secretly a high elf in disguise.
Do you know how hard it was to master death magic?

I am leveling a nightborne warrior. It’s been a while since I leveled a warrior.

Edit: Also, I try not to get up too early but I had to go get a prescription.

Fun fact: I race-changing my orc warrior into a male nightborne in the PTR, just to check how the race felt. For some reason, I think their tall and thin appearance is so alien-like that it ended up looking cool.

It looks incredibly disproportioned.

Ugly as hell dude.
Mind you, might Nightborne mage is well geared as well. They just don’t look good.

They’d look a lot better if those shoulder’s weren’t so friggin big

I really love how awkward and drugged out they look.

Honestly the only thing swapping my main to one is that they don’t get DK customisation and tbh I like the fact that my DK has gone unchanged since like 5 minutes into Wrath.

They get DK customization the 14th.
Not going to roll one though since the racials are garbage for a DK.

Like proper DK customisation? All I saw were the eyes.
