The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

It’d be cool to see some sort of “war effort” material contribution like vanilla, only to rebuild areas of our choosing

We’d have to actually see the damage to all of Azeroth first, though. Time for a second cata?

Well we have had cata zones in the old world for a long time.

Finally someone else who gets it.

This is what iam hoping we see with a zone recreation. The world in shambles, resources used up and the “hero” is trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild. Laying the fallen to rest, and so on. Sounds morbid but it would be more real than the sky falling every other year.

The fact that you, and a number of other people are stuck on semantics?

Sorry I have to say this Bro, even though I like you

Pot calling the kettle black?

Hardly, I have always stated they are the same people. =P

Anyone else agree Blood Elves should have been Alliance from the start and Horde should have gotten Ogres or something?

tbh I just don’t seem them doing Azeroth from scratch. I’d like them to because Kalimdor is my jam, but it would be way more work than any other possible content they could do.

No, clearly you’re the first person to ever express this viewpoint. Do Alliance even want Thalassian elves?

I am such a visionary, I know. And I certainly would, they were Alliance to begin with and still should have stayed that way. The race lineup moving forward would have made much more sense.

So, what, retcon WC3?

Wouldn’t be the first time nor the last, and it wouldn’t be too harsh of a retcon considering what else came in BC. Hell they could have even waited til Wrath and added Ogres/Mok’nathal even and High Elves then.

And so how would you get around the fact that without blood elves the Horde was on the brink of collapsing as far as playerbase?

Considering tons of people now complain that Horde ONLY play Blood Elves, I’d say it would have to be done. I’m sure they could think of something, and then by Wrath it would be fixed with the new race.

Yeah, but I’m not sure how much work they had into redoing arathi and darkshore vs a brand new zone. Obviously a nice face lift beyond what arathi and darkshore got would be best tho.

I just wonder how many new islands and such can be pulled out of thin air? Am I don’t care to go to another AU
unless we get to play thru wc3 from a wow perspective of course. Haha

But who is complaining? I mean there’s a few dead enders that only want the original races (maybe dropping forsaken even) but most of the time I see that concern for the soul of the horde being corrupted by blood elves it seems to come from people with an ulterior motive for saying that and not so much actual concern for the horde.

Well, I imagine we’re just going to see new planets. As we saw in I wanna say
Argus? There was that part where we went through Legion portals to pristine new worlds.

Not against high elves since many people already play one, just against the Alliance getting what’s already a Horde playable race and asking for customization for what’s already there.

Boldly going where we have gone before.

Idk I see one more island we are going to and that’s dragon isle, not sure if that will be part of a patch or expac.

But I’ve always liked that Warcraft has utilized its world(in RTS, although RTS is easier to terraform) and there are a few undiscovered zones that could be utilized yet
