Yes, that’s ridiculous. If ever a patch cried out for “Hi! I understand you’re looking for people with experience in dealing with the Void and resisting it’s sanity-destroying effects. We at Void Elves Incorporated are here to help!” it’s this one.
It’s like they wrote it to do just that and then forget to write in the group that should be the protagonists in the story.
