The drac mistake was the horrible design of it. We should have just gotten drakonids.

Dracthyr are fine, but they need to make it so we can see gear on them other than shoulders and weapon.

Pandaren were in Warcraft 3, which came out 5 years before Kung Fu Panda.
They most certainly weren’t a mistake, but continue spouting nonsense.

it’s extra weird because we learned to hate dragons in these types of games… you know… dragon kill points.

I love Dracthyr lore wise and looks; they have good aesthetics IMO.
The only race I thought was random were pandas since it came out during the whole kung fu panda era lol but I must admit, I enjoy seeing them around now.

Same. I’m pretty tired of the forums crapping on Dracthyr. And even more tired of Blizz nerfing them over the whining. But my canceled sub already told them this. Unfortunately they still have my game time until June.

I don’t care for the models myself, but anyone who thought they were going to be playing characters that look like the bosses in Black Rock Spire and Blackwing Lair was smoking something.

It’s infuriating this line gets trotted out so often as a fact when it’s quite literally as ahistorical as it gets. If anything, the Kung Fu Panda creators saw Chen Stormstout in the bonus campaign of Warcraft 3, not the other way around.

Dracthyr are an excellent addition to the game.
1 - are a new thing, with no connections to other playable races from the past.
2 - despite the ups and downs, they have a totally new model.
3 - are a playable winged race.
4 - as an evoker, they have a very unique gameplay.
I particularly don’t like most of the other races, even elves and humans who are so popular. Having a race that you don’t like in the game doesn’t make it a bad thing.

Dracthyr are fun for people who want a few things:
Mobile casting
Less than 47 keybinds
And being a G-dang dragon.
Sure, the armor is wonky but like…lol, every druid form suffers the same. Worgen look ridiculous in most armor (in my opinion, which is wrong because I am not the Lorax of WoW), and they still have their Visage form to be pretty. Maybe Blizz can find a way to make that a permanent thing or…and I’m spitballin’ here, NOT “retcon” the entire class and expac they made for these characters and focus instead on polishing their work through future updates.
But go off, the irony of you posting this on a Death Knight who is not a rotting corpse model or iron-clad in Ebon Blade armor only is not lost on me.

OP, I don’t like DKs you don’t see me making stupid posts about they “shouldn’t have made them”… I choose not to play them, is how I deal with it. I am happy for those that like them, however.
