So Friday, I saw the Calendar listing for this. 12:01am Saturday start.

Great, I have done that before…it was a lot of fun.

So I found 4 different realms each in the 4 major time zones and I leveled a Gnome to level 10 on each one. 4 shots at getting this done.

12:01am Saturday morning, I am there. The starting gate and several banners appeared along with several NPC’s cheering us along.

Thing is, I was the only one there. There was no one else.

Try a different realm…again I am the only one there.

Same with the other 2 realms. I am the only one there.

On the last realm (its now 3:30am local} I decide to do the run by myself. Took a little over an hour and a half to get to Booty Bay.

I chose all High Pop or Full realms to do this on thinking “all these players” someone will show up,

Nope, Nada.

I am really sad that no one else joined me.

Come to think of it when I was leveling all those gnomes, I never even saw another player the whole time.

I think Blizzard phased me on all 4 realms.

The event is done for this year. All my gnomes were deleted.

People usually meet up on servers at specific times and run together.

Making a Gnome on Scarlet Crusade, and meeting up at 7pm est is the usual go for the Gnome Run. You will find a lot of people there and then.

I made a gnome alt and ran the race. I started at level 1, and leveled twice and died once. The buff you get if you die during the race is pretty neat.

I only saw one other player the entire time, and that was a night elf in Duskwood, running the other way.

It is later today. At 4pm PDT on Scarlet Crusade.

The event hasn’t even happened yet. You deleted prematurely. And may have also been on the wrong server.

Does one have to be a gnome to do this on Scarlet Crusade? I would rather bring a void elf character over.

You can be any race and any level. Higher levels tend to escort lv 1s to protect them. There’s a mini Blizz run that goes all day in addition to the original run that people are mentioning that happens at a specific time.

I just want to know if everyone participating on Scarlet Crusade’s event should be a gnome. Because of role-playing expectations. My void elf would be riding her pink mount, and get the transmogs as pink as possible, but she would still be an elf, not a gnome. The event is called the Running of the Gnomes.

It is overwhelmingly gnomes, I would go with a pink haired gnome

They usually make a post about it but I don’t see one for this year. Here’s last year’s. I think for joining one of the guilds you need to be a gnome and like Straiso said most people are pink haired gnomes.

No its not. Some people do it early outside of SC’s official time.
