Albeit I don’t like Galywix and should be grinning to “take him out” in a raid — I don’t think I’d want him to die. Defeat & getaway though? Sure.
Having insufferable characters die after faction betrayal / exile / abandonment etc, is sort of predictable 
I’d like him to have the Joffrey treatment, where he’s a cockroach that never gets to die even when you expect it — Until it suddenly DOES happen unexpectedly, and it’s horrifically satisfying.
