well i don’t know but maybe the attack on light hope chapel happened when the paladins had to go save priests asses
They aren’t really subordinates of Bolvar. During several quests it’s mentioned we help him but he is not in charge.
The four horsemen follow the deathlord, which is indeed us and we have no relation to Bolvar, as in “serving him” or something.
