The flaws of Covenants have already been exposed

Doesn’t matter. Blizz will do whatever they want.

I didn’t like Azerite, essences, and I think they over-saturated the Legendary market not to mention the RNG.

I actually kinda like what they have now. If not the current abilities then at least something that would give a little more ‘weight’ to my choice.

And no, you, nor any streamer or content creator decides what I should feel as ‘meaningful’ or whatever the case.

I agree, but at the same time, you don’t get to decide what’s meaningful for me. It would be far more meaningful for me to choose what ability to use for any given situation.

ya, I agree. pull the cord early so we don’t splatter on the ground.
but if they want it this way there’s nothing we can do. I just hoped they can give us more options.
4 Per spec. not per class.
it’s sad for us who play multi-role classes who click on these neat abilities to see it… heal allies… or lowers your allies cooldowns…

Oh man, the druid ones look thoroughly underwhelming, makes me so sad. :cold_sweat:

I’m not deciding for you. Developers are. Stop behaving like the rest of the people thinking my opinion has any weight.

Healers, Tanks, and DPS have never been balanced ever in this game’s lifetime.

I understand that the developers make the decision, the purpose of this thread and this argument is to hopefully make the developers understand our point of view, and at the end of the day, a system that both of us could be happy with would absolutely be the best.

I’m staying in Legion, BfA looked like a mess and SL is starting to look like a mess.

They do understand it. They just want to try to make this work. There are a growing number that seemingly are against it. They’ll do what they always do. And instead of working to better a system, we’ve gotten spoiled enough to think we can sway their design choices.

Sad days.

Yet another “I can’t have fun if you get to make your own choices” from a character that won’t be playing shadownlands anyway.

What’s wrong with offering alternative to their systems? As a whole, they put development time and effort into four different covenants, 8 different abilities per class, 3 different soulbinds per covenant. It seems like a waste of dev time and money to only give me access to 25% of all this.

That said, as I mentioned above, howabout a loyalty reward system. You stay in one covenant, you get bonuses, I swap to whatever covenant I want and forfeit that bonus unless I end up sticking with one for whatever amount of time is required to obtain the reward. This should work, right? I’m happy, you’re happy, why not lend your support to this system?

That’s not even remotely what I meant by what I wrote…

Control freaks freak out when they can’t have total control.

I don’t think he’s really a control freak, he probably just feels like he’s being attacked for his opinion. We already had one thread closed down because people devolved to attacks from both sides, so let’s just try to counter his opinions, yeah? Catch more flies with honey than vinegar and all that.

That’s more of a decent enough feed back than what I’ve read outta boredom throughout the interwebs.

Most I’ve come by are just ‘‘get rid of it, gimme freely swappable abilities’’… which no doubt Blizz will do if history is any indicator.

I just think this system has a potential to be half-decent. It’ll be horrible FOR ME if they just neuter it to the ground.

That’s the target demographic. “I can’t have fun if other people are permitted options, because that’s what’s fun to me - other people having no options”.

You okay…?

Maybe in some cases? But, I brought up a solution that would work for both sides, and he didn’t seem to mind it too much. It’s frustrating trying to get your opinions across, and I’ve seen a lot of people go hard and just get angry with each other, on both sides. For the most part in this thread people have been calm on both sides and just brought up their own viewpoints, and that’s the way to achieve change.

Point is, I just don’t think most people are control freaks, but if you just get screamed in your face all day long, that’s a surefire way to have your opinion motivated by spite…and if enough people just yell you down all day, then it can easily become a stance of “whatever they want I want to go away”.

Oh look it’s the same 10 people from the last thread.

Better than you. I guess it bothers you when people see through what you’re doing here. Too bad you can’t be honest, but that’s how you are.
