there’s no way people didnt think it would be 1-85, considering leveling was a ghost town below 85 since this announcement.

It was clearly mentioned it was for 85+.
Sub 85’s have to wait for joyous journey buff + heirlooms.
Perhaps you should have someone explain the release notes to you next time.

my 85 and 86 are still saying the old req for exp.
It’s probably because the leveling from 1-85 is already fairly quick. If you want it to be even faster though you could go farm the Krol of Blade rare in Dread Wastes. He drops a 300% exp potion that lasts for an hour and you can send to any of your alts and works 1-85.

Not gunna lie we had many many joyous journey leveling opportunities in Cataclysm. I could imagine people have alts getting rested for a while now.
Yup, tbf though a lot of people didn’t want to play cata which I understand; only thing enjoyable about Cata for me was Firelands. Even during prepatch the leveling wasn’t too bad though(when JJ was removed). I was able to get my priest from 1-85 in like 16 hours /played just by queueing for dungeons and doing quests inbetween queues.
Ah, got it, someone just decided to sit behind a character who’s never posted to start acting like a child.

To be fair 1-85 is only quick if your a tank/spam q with a group and odnt have to wait 15-25 min to do a 10 min dungeon.
Who wants to spend more time waiting than playing. Defeats purpose of game. Should be optional at this point but blizzard wants to sell you 85 boosts.

My 85 isn’t in a guild… but shows the guild perk Fast Track.
“Experience gained by killing monsters and completing quests increased by 65%.”
Also shows Mr. Popularity for 10%.
Just checked. I wonder if they stack.
Reading patch notes is hard? Low levels don’t need the boost. You out level the zone before half of the quests are done.
