The echoing reprimand change

I didnt know Hereswith had a second toon

I would never play Alliance. Nothing against them, but I’ve been running to Orgrimmar since I was eight years old

I stopped taking garbage af Echoing Rep, in fact, I stopped Deathstalker altogether. Echoing Rep is so bad without Resounding Clarity, it becomes a literal mini game without the follow up talent.

Deathstalker is completely useless in lower content, Heroics, M0, Delves, digging up mud holes in the ground, PVP, literally clunky and stupid in all that content.

I only spec Deathstalker in the raid where things are controlled, stealth doesn’t get broken by random things, I can tell when we’re dropping combat, my tanks are aware of DPS openers, etc, etc.

When you join a pug as Deathstalker, the tank will just pull randomly, owning your opener, then they will jitter the boss around for no reason. I had a tank move the boss randomly for no reason right when I tried to hit Kingsbane, I was like okay GG. If the tank did this crap in Classic WoW, they would get gkicked, banned from loot or screamed at in Discord.

Maybe in some of the content but in PvP too?

You’re crazy man. It absolutely slaps in BGB.

Deathstalker in PVP is one of the better hero talent trees. It might need more visual appeal and QoL stream lining but it is does its work in PVP.

For whatever reason the devs are scared to give Rogues more uptime on the mark in PVE and PVP.

Remove it completely, turn it into something like Deathstalker’s Endless Night which activates once you stack X buff names and you get the stacks by pressing your finishers.
You can plan ahead, people with less than 10 fingers don’t cry that there’s another button to press and track, it helps energy economy a tiny bit because every n-th finisher will do more than full cp damage at whatever cp you happen to have the moment your stacks get to max.
Basically it’d be like the Paladin auto-wings when buttons got pressed enough times.

No. It’s low energy and add’s an extra move… and consequently an extra 3% buff to Danse Macbre specs in PVP. If its passive it doesnt do that…(6% buff in pve single target Danse Macbre specs.)

I came back recently and the amount of button bloat honestly shocked me. I’ve finally adjusted by I look forward to seeing more passives. I’m not sure if Thistle Tea passive is good; it might be.

Slice and Dice should be passive and reduced to irrelevance but never eliminated so we never have it go away and then come back again when Blizzard gets into one of their retro modes again.

The new ER is very niche so I will no longer be using it.

I mean it gives your sinister strike / ambush two ER per roll the bones. the damage needs to be increased to make it a worthwhile capstone

That was my preliminary feedback that the damage was too low but I am not holding my breath on that.

i mean it needs to do like 3x the damage it does now to have a hope of competing

Supercharger being tied to Roll the Bones is so comically bad for Outlaw.

No one playing KiR is going to take it because you aren’t going to roll off a full stack of buffs just to get supercharged combo points. If it was tied to Vanish or ADR at least you could prepare to use those two CP’s as burst damage during your Crackshot windows, which might actually not feel terrible.

Either way the removal of ER is a net negative as it helped fill the void of bad rotational rng.

God, everytime one of you Outlaw guys explain what’s happening in that spec my eyes glaze over. Rough over there in Outlaw town.

I enjoyed the spec in DF but haven’t even looked at it this xpac.

Yeah having ER as a CD you could use in a pinch due to bad RNG helped Outlaw. At least the new ER helps Sub builds a bit so that is a silver lining.

But yes super charger works against how KIR and how RTB re-roll logic works for the most part.

I personally like the idea of the echoeing charge change. You dont have to play that mini game of roulet of your combo points landing on the right spot. It’s a little more intuitive since it activates of your burat abilities like shiv and symbols so you get a fatter finisher right after. With sub getting 3 symbols it has some nice synergy.

I will say it feels the most clunky on outlaw. To lose vigor energy to pick it to, you are very energy starved. And activating it off roll the bones feels bad especially when you have a good roll. Should maybe be change to activate off vanish or something else maybe. Or everytime enter stealth but that be too close to premeditation.

We get the deathstalker interaction with ER fixed after way too long, and now we’re hearing that it’s going away altogether? Yeah it needs to be a one pointer talent OR behave like the old animacharged points. Both aspects at once being weaker is too much. :frowning:

Having played ER on and off since Shadowlands, I can tell you that 99% of the time I never think about intentionally hitting the anima charged cp. And that is the correct way to play this ability as you rarely never hit the charged cps natutally within 45 seconds. The only gameplay change with ER is reacting to your regular rotation landing on the charged cp which for the most part is very predictable. This interaction is also a godsend for low cp generating spec like sin and also on outlaw where being cp/energy efficient helps avoid unlucky droughts. Super charge imo accomplish almost the same thing but its passive.

Unfortunately for Outlaw is doesn’t accomplish the same thing because its tied to roll the bones which you’re never going to want to spam as Keep it Rolling or roll off your best buffs as HO. For sin/sub it’s better but for outlaw its terrible. If they adjusted it to be tied to ambush instead of Roll the Bones it would be a step in the right direction. But that makes way too much sense

Im not taking account of what activates super charge. The rtb activator should be changed imo, but I also get if they dont change it. KIR will still get value from RTB activated super charge just not as much as HO, which I dunno, might inspire different builds paths depending on what the tree looks like.
