The easiest spec to play in the game shouldn’t also get to do close to the most damage

That’s because you have an entry level understanding of the game.

i think we need classes to have a different variation of lust, maybe 30% mastery for 30 seconds or 40% crit for 40 seconds or 20% vers for 40 seconds.

Everyone is, the problem people have with BM is that it is seemingly too easy for the damage they’re doing, it’s even in the title of the OP?

Whether this statement is true, is something I am not going to burn myself on.

I think Lust makes room for some tactical play at certain stages, but yeah most of the time is just for the extra blast. Which wouldn’t be a bad thing if it was more accessible

This just creates more of the same problem imo.

Right now there are a lot of factors that play into group composition. The more they do that, the less even classes will be between one another, DPS wise.

nope…wait…are you trying to insult me…
instead of redressing the content of my comment…
i do know what that means…lol.

We are currently talking about the ease of play and how BM is the easiest spec to play.

All classes can be tuned and is expected to happen.

hunters are the coolest class…
and it’s only right and fitting
that they do the most damage…
i suggest blizzard buff all current
hunter specs by 100%.

well is subjective as well bro.

relax its just opinions we are sharing here. no facts. some people consider aotc an achievement some people think killing bosses with grey parses are an achievement some people think CE at the last week of the tier is an achievement some think only getting CE in the first 2 months is an achievements.

do you play this game well?? what do you consider well?

What spec do you think is the easiest, anyway?

Which is, quite frankly a ridiculous discussion point, the game should reward game ‘‘difficulty’’ with more output.

That is not to say that they should make BM harder to play, it just means that the specc should be tuned based on always being able to dps and move.

How difficult something is to play, depends on player-to-player and their accessibility.

Incorrect.

If a bm hunter has to press 1 2 and 3 in order. Jimmy in accounting being unable to do that doesn’t magically make BM hard to play.

The factors of why players may struggle can differ but that doesn’t make bm harder to play.

I found outlaw rogues and Frost mages the easies to pick up although not much different from other classes, i havent played dps shamans tho. i havent mastered any specs tho so i cant actually tell you which spec i found the easiest to master. once i have 99s on every class then i will be able to share an opinion.

thats ur opinions that he is incorrect.

But if Jimmy only has 1 arm, it does increase difficulty

It increases jimmy’s difficulty to play the game. It doesn’t make BM magically harder.

If having one arm makes bm harder then it makes every other spec and class harder as well.

Glad we cleared that up, but once again, it doesn’t matter what class is easier, as long as performance and difficulty to play are being properly rewarded, which currently for BM it is not.

Again no one is talking about tuning in this direct conversation

Not taking tuning into the conversation about this subject makes it just whomever can yell the loudest that their opinion is correct.

Including tuning and performance makes this discussion factual, which is a whole lot more useful then… well whatever you all are doing.

I think you vastly overestimate how “good” the average WoW player typically is. Five minutes worth of hardcore death compellations should be enough to fix that mindset.

Also, take a moment to actually pay attention to other players at some point. An absolutely surprising number of folks have backpeddling ingrained as one of the worst habits. It’s literally useless if you’re trying to put distance between yourself and something getting in your face as they run at full speed and you just slowly step backwards at half your normal running speed. Ultimately, it just makes you a sitting duck (especially in PvP!)

Also, watch some HC death videos again. I’ll let you guys guess what one of the last actions performed by many of those folks is.

Unless you’re on the absolute back end of an AoE zone, the only thing it’s typically good for is getting yourself killed, and even then it’s much faster to sidestep out of a situation like that as it maintains your full running speed.

The crazy thing is, when you try to point this out to folks (in a nice helpful manner, not the typical toxic “WTF, why is u bad!?” way), some of them actually rage at you WORSE THAN A TOXIC PLAYER! Hell, I’ve been in battlegrounds where I’ve called out weak links on opposing teams (“Eyes open for X, they backpeddle!”) and had my own team members try to shame me for “picking on them.”

I’m sorry, I thought we were trying to WIN the battle via killing the other team and ensuring they don’t have enough active players to secure objectives. That’s like being up 10-0 in the bottom of the 9th of a baseball game with your starting pitcher on the verge of a no hitter or perfect game and then telling him to take it easy on the last guy because he’s a .180 hitter and you might hurt his feelings.

They’re going to nerf BM hunters by making Sporebat a “mandatory” pet again.
