The dungeon finder needs to be deleted from WOTLK classic

I main a warlock, I don’t play melee classes.

Remind me when it came out in original TBC if you would be so kind.

They originally came in ZA.

Not even a remotely true statement but bye felicia.

I play nothing but tank and welcome RDF.

So it came out in P2 in Classic, but originally with ZA in TBC.

Hmmmm.

And LFD launched in the ICC phase? Which I believe is phase 4 or something along those lines.

So I can expect LFD no later than… Ulduar phase, half way through roughly?

If they connect the realms then by all means delete the dungeon finder. But we have to be able to get groups somehow. For those of us NOT on the cherry picked mega realms, we don’t have the luxury of a 20k+ population. Blizzard done missed the boat when it came to properly regulating realm populations. They allowed mega realms to suck all the other realms dry. Now we NEED either connected realms or dungeon finder. One or the other. I don’t care if your mega realm has neither. The rest one of us need one.

The bad’s will be there to queue with don’t worry.

Wrong. Most of the playerbase has already quit. They have asked for lfd amd dual spec in tbc. Didnt get it so they quit. Notice the dead servers except the very few that are left. When wotlk comes and it has lfd and dual spec from day 1. The players will return. A few will quit. A very few. Nobody will even notice they left. They will type one last post in the forums. Thinking it matters. Everyone will ask them if they can have thier gold. Then everyone will go off playing and having fun and those 2 players that quit will go cry into thier pillows. All mad because ppl are enjoying lfd and using it again and again and again. But u dont want them to. So your pilliw just keeps soaking up more and more tears. So sad.

This is laughable. No, the player base has not dramatically dipped. Most of the player base has congregated on a few mega servers due to blizzards negligence. If you are on one of the dead realms, the game may seem dead. Classic still remains far more successful than blizzard anticipated, with the complete lack of instant gratification and anti social features that exists in retail.

Nobody is quitting from lack of LFD. Anyone who came into classic knew that this iteration didn’t have any of that garbage. Perhaps all your friends from retail quit when they realized classic was a different game and wasn’t made to cater to them.

Except it IS a wrath feature and WILL be coming with wrath, get over it or quit now. No ones gonna miss you either way.

Only time can tell, it’s up in the air. We’ve already gotten changes to the game. Get over yourself and accept you won’t get it on launch if it releases at all.

You can’t change loot rules in combat.

It’s not a logical fallacy. It all came down to almost no one in the original game agreed with you. If even a substantial minority agreed with you, say 30%, the lfg channel would work just fine, especially on the mega servers. The reason the lfd system became deeply ingrained in the game is because by far the vast majority of players saw it as a much improved system and complete switched over to it. You and the tiny fringe that didn’t want to use the lfd had no choice but to use it if you wanted to do a dungeon because almost everyone liked the lfd so much better than every way to from groups that come before it.

If everyone liked it so much there would have been no push for classic wow in the first place. Humans will tend to take the path of least resistance when the option is there. If it’s in the game, people believe they don’t have a choice weather they agree with the system or not. The fact of a matter is the core classic audience doesn’t want lfd. See what happened to any pro lfd post that happened pre classic release. The core audience has the game they want now, and they aren’t as loud in the forums compared to the minority who want to turn classic into retail with time walking raids.

Can I downvote op x1000?

Especially after you put the people on ignore at some point.

I get it. They really want to run this dungeon. I…don’t need to see this message every 2 minutes. Hope they get, I’d not know as…I am now ignore them

as 3000 requests for ramparts as I am doing level 27 things in ashenvale is getting pretty old. Especially when their add is picky elitist drivel. they’d turn down my 63 hunter if on the same server. Ewww…you still have boosty gear. Well, yeah. Communal trinkets. Not dropping in quests so far so…its what I got. is what it is.

I don’t see the connection to LFD in retail and people wanting to have classic servers at all.

You can use a system and still disagree with it btw.

I highly doubt that, I’ve been playing classic since day 1 and I’m looking forward to LFD in WotLK.

You’re making false equivalences, people wanting LFD does not mean they want everything in retail to be added. If they did they can just play retail.

I’m part of the core classic audience. I started from nearly day one of vanilla. I quit some years ago in retail planning to never to return to wow. To my surprise they released classic and that’s the only reason I came back. I don’t even have the retail game on my computer anymore. I was one of many original players in Vanilla and TBC that complained about finding groups and asking for blizzard to do something. When they finally did something and added the lfd most of us celebrated it.

People do have a choice. When the lfg was added in original BC and in classic BC almost no one used it. People didn’t like it and spamming the lfg chat channel worked better. In original wrath people made a choice and the overwhelming choice of the players was to use the best thing blizzard ever added to the game, the lfd.

As part of that core audience I didn’t want the pally seal change, the drum nerf, the change to the start point for arena points. I do want the lfd and dual spec.

People wanted classic in large part to get away from garbage like LFD. I’ll state again, look what happened to any pro LFD post before classic was released, you were ruthlessly downvoted and got thousands of negative comments, and rightfully so. Also, you restated my point, yes people use features they disagree with.
